He'd better not miss his flight up from presenting The Friday Night Project on the Saturday.

He'll be shit. ;)

FFS Calderwood, there are guys going for free and THIS is the best you can do!?!?!?!??!

We let a solid, hard working and tackling midfielder go and look who is gonna get the chance to replace him? A lank haired poofter.

Another example of Calderwood being like a dog with a bone. Gets an idea into his head that he wants to sign someone and that's it. Stays there forever, or possibly longer. God forbid he'd look elsewhere.

Hilarity aside.

Who the fuck is Joseph Lapira?

Which position does he play?

First I've heard of this transfer.

American striker, fantastic scoring record at college level, was wanted in the MLS draft by a few teams but opted to try and get a move to a European team instead. Was capped by Ireland last season in a friendly against Ecuador. Was on trial at Rangers a few months ago but injured his wrist or something and had to fly home early.

Striker, I believe from the US and A. Was supposed to come on trial with us some time ago (last Christmas, maybe?) but then it was cancelled. He went on trial with the huns and got injured I believe (or they realised he was playing for Eire and "changed their minds").

Would be a good signing.

EE confirms he's on trial with a view to signing until the end of the season.  His mother is Irish so no issues work permit wise.  Top scorer for Notre Dame 4 seasons in a row.  Recommended by Bobby Clark!

Dave Bus expected to sign today.  Once he's passed his medical he'll sign on loan until the end of the season.

I assume its actualy Baton Rouge Capitals he's played for. Some nice areas in Baton Rouge. Capital of Louisiana.

Oh and is college "soccer" as competetive as college football is over there?

The BBC site reckons he's signed for Toronto FC in the MLS 'superdraft', so where that leaves AFC I don't know.

I had a baton rouge once.

It was nothing some cold water and cotton wool couldn't soothe though.

Don't use sandpaper next time.

He only moved to Toronto last week so I assume this is only a short term thing for him to gain experience and go back to them.

EE says that Mo Jonston at Toronto has offered him a 2 year deal but he hasnt accepted it yet, and could still decide to join the Dons full time

Just looking at his stats now and I have to say, they're pretty impressive.

He's averaging 4.3 crossfield interceptions, 10.8 offensive recoveries, 1.17 end zone conversions and only 2.24 fumbles every quarter!

Hot dog!

Get him signed!!
