Panda Posted May 22 Report Posted May 22 I'm actually the Aberdeen fan in this that Big Dunc is bantering away with. He's actually a lovely bloke. The full interview - when it gets published on Iplayer - will be a fascinating listen. Hope another club give him a chance in management. Forest Green and Inverness CT were both uphill battles that a somewhat rookie manager (I'd still class him as that) shouldn't have taken on, and he pretty much admitted that. Quote

Panda Posted May 23 Report Posted May 23 Michael Wimmer has left Motherwell. That's five clubs starting next season with a new manager. Quote
Jute Posted May 23 Report Posted May 23 Ah see Panda beat me to it. Leaving a Scottish top flight side to manage a team just relegated to 3rd division in Germany is not a great look for the league. Quote
Panda Posted May 23 Report Posted May 23 Thelin now the fourth longest serving manager in the top flight. 2 Quote

In fairness Jute there does appear to be some fairly strong legitimate family reasons for his exit. I actually thought he came across as a fairly decent guy in his interviews 1 Quote

Sort of suggests he was not committed to moving to Scotland in first place. Quote

Apparently Motherwell were helping him with his ongoing family situation whilst there, so it'd make sense that he would have put feelers oot. There are always plenty of gigs going in fitba. Quote
BigAl Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 One third of the clubs in Scotland's top league are now looking for a new manager. Doubt that has ever been higher, unless of course someone knows otherwise Quote
BigAl Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 Kettlewell set to be appointed Killie boss. Already have had a Killie supporting mate saying that he won't renew his season ticket if true 1 Quote
Jute Posted May 26 Report Posted May 26 Kettlebell confirmed as new Kilmarnock manager. Does not look universally approved by the Killie support. Quote
