Jute Posted May 13 Report Posted May 13 Down at Sunderland v Coventry City in English league play off semi final. Sunderland scrape through 3-2 on aggregate to face Sheffield United in the final. Cannot see passed Sheffield United despite them never wing a play off final. Sunderland probably could do with another year in Championship. Stadium of Light is a fantastic stadium and crowd of 46,350 made some noise:Â Quote

What a move it’s been, and as you say, winning captain playing the whole game. Wonder if this sets him up for a summer big money move. I know he’s been linked with Napoli, would be something to see him and McTom the top two midfielders in the league! Ball boy Gilmore gets to watch them daily!! Jokes aside, I rate Gilmore too. Maybe we can punt Ambrose to them for a few mill as the new lukaku? Quote
Jute Posted May 16 Report Posted May 16 Annan Athletic 1-0 on East Fife in the league 1 play off. 3-3 on aggregate.  In Premier League play off still 0-0 in second leg at the moment. Quote

That's going to be a tough game for County or Dundee (I'm guessing the former). Livingston are good, and they're fit too, with two or three on the bench that can do a job. Quote

It doesn't bother me significantly either way. I would like Martindale to succeed though. I don't particularly like the guy, but I like what he's done and I find it intriguing that he hasn't had a bigger job. Quote

RicoS321 Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 Lobban definitely the stand out any time I've seen Cove. Not sure we need a third right back unfortunately. Quote
Jute Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 Airdrie see it out 0-0 despite Cove finishing with 5 forwards. Thought all three of Dons lads played well with Lobban and Emslie being best. Quote

We're spending far too much money in the transfer windows to have time for these lads. I don't see a route for any of the lads at Cove, or Bavidge. 1 Quote

I know it’s been touched on elsewhere, but it really would beg the question as to why we even have an academy anymore. Hopefully it’s not the end of the road for these guys at afc. Quote
