  • I'm very glad that I can watch the Dons most weeks and then switch off to all other football (Scotland aside). I do watch the occasional game on the telly (rarely a whole game), mainly the BBC Friday

Am I right in thinking that every single Premiership team has taken something from Pittodrie this season - except Hearts? Had they won at Pittodrie earlier in the season, they'd already be champi

Just saw that. What a move it’s been, and as you say, winning captain playing the whole game. Wonder if this sets him up for a summer big money move. I know he’s been linked with Napoli, would be something to see him and McTom the top two midfielders in the league! Ball boy Gilmore gets to watch them daily!! Jokes aside, I rate Gilmore too. Maybe we can punt Ambrose to them for a few mill as the new lukaku?

Annan Athletic 1-0 on East Fife in the league 1 play off. 3-3 on aggregate.

In Premier League play off still 0-0 in second leg at the moment.

East Fife got it back to 1-1 on the night. 3-4 on aggregate

Livingston looking certain to win, 1-0 up.

2-0 now. Dandies legend Stevie May with a lovely lob.

Finished 2-0 (4-0). That's going to be a tough game for County or Dundee (I'm guessing the former). Livingston are good, and they're fit too, with two or three on the bench that can do a job.

The thought of losing an away trip to Dingwall or Dundee and replacing it with a trip to the soulless shit hole that is Livingston  is deeply depressing.

I suspect both those sides were involved in the self preservation of the plastic pitch rule change and so karma will perhaps prevail. It doesn't bother me significantly either way. I would like Martindale to succeed though. I don't particularly like the guy, but I like what he's done and I find it intriguing that he hasn't had a bigger job.

Bugger that means I now have not been to all 42 league grounds and no real wish to visit East Kilbride’s caged carpet.

However my OCD will force me to now.

On BBC alba for those with a telly.

Lobban definitely the stand out any time I've seen Cove. Not sure we need a third right back unfortunately.

Airdrie see it out 0-0 despite Cove finishing with 5 forwards. Thought all three of Dons lads played well with Lobban and Emslie being best.

I thought Emslie looked a little Connor McLennany

I don't think he'll ever play for us to be honest. We're spending far too much money in the transfer windows to have time for these lads. I don't see a route for any of the lads at Cove, or Bavidge.

Sadly, I’d agree with that. I know it’s been touched on elsewhere, but it really would beg the question as to why we even have an academy anymore. Hopefully it’s not the end of the road for these guys at afc.

It might be that we see them when they're a bit older like Milne and MacKenzie. I'm assuming we'll get some money from the actual good ones that go down South before kicking a ball too.
