Supposedly a nothing incident, but huns do like to greet about some injustice or other, inflicted on them. It's what they do. Quote
The.Moog Posted Friday at 10:33 Report Posted Friday at 10:33 I’m perfectly happy for Shinnie to get the credit for maiming that dog bothering arsehole. He’s earned the right… 1 Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted yesterday at 16:11 Report Posted yesterday at 16:11 (edited) Was down at Piitodries picking up cup tickets. Just a heads up to those of us going to the game tomorrow, that the side roads and pavements down and around Pittodrie are pretty treacherous. Easier coming over from the beach than from down King Street way. Edited yesterday at 16:12 by TheDonbytheDee 2 Quote
Kowalski Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago Horrific weather - blowing a gale and heavy rain, with floods due to melting snow. Wouldn’t be adverse to the game being off! Quote
Jute Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago I did wake up early this morning and thought about reversing decision on not going then opened curtains to see rain and reverted to my original decision. Quote

Wish we'd telt Sky to fuck off, just because they have schedules to fill as nae guffball to show. 1 Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Last time we played them at this time, was the game we did them 3-1, with the cracker from Scales. More of the same please. Quote
RicoS321 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Think the rain might stop for the game, but the wind winna. Quote
Jute Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Got to wonder if it wasn’t for SKY cameras if the game would be on today. Quote

The forecast on my phone for Aberdeen is a 5 blobber. Never have I ever seen 5 rain blobs on the graphic before - and here's me thing 3 blobs here was bad! Like Gothenburg all over again (in weather only). Summon the spirit of Strachan and do those c***s. Good luck, and good on ya, to all who will be there, if it happens! Quote
Kowalski Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Anyone travelling from the south, the road is flooded (but passable) at Laurencekirk and Portlethen. Polis in attendance. 1 Quote
Panda Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Presume Leven will stick with two up front. He hinted in his press conference he would when he spoke about Bilalovic being signed as a winger but that he's going to work with him on playing through the middle. Not been a fan of three at the back as it encourages us to just knock it around our back line too much, and it relies on us having really attacking wing backs which I don't think we have apart from Lobban, so I think we need a few signings to make that work. Would go 4-2-2 diamond or a simple 4-4-2. Quote
Elgindon Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Just driven from New Deer, lot of deep water en route, but passable. Can they not divert the Northbound traffic onto a single lane of the Southbound at Cammachmore? Quote
Panda Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I remember a game in the 90s down at Ibrox, where the game was called off 10 minutes before kick-off. Been a long time waiting to repay the favour, but.. 1 Quote

I'm guessing that they'll turn folk round and try and utilise the bypass. The water was horrendous there last time there were bad conditions, so wouldn't be surprised to see it going across the carriageway. Inconvenient, really, as a hundred yards further and the traffic could have just gone through Portlethen. The best news is that it won't affect me. If it were me, I'd head off through west Cammachmore towards lair hillock and then keep gan to south deeside and back in. 1 Quote

I like Polvara there, and it also allows him to step into a 4-2-3-1 if necessary, which it could also be (Clarkson ahead of Shinnie and Polvara). I'm guessing the former. Quote
Panda Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Be interesting to see where Milanovic playing. Is he wide on the right (meaning Karlsson left). That means either 4-2-3-1 with Clarkson or Polvara advanced, or basically just the Jimmy Thelin tactics of 5-2-3 and we'll knock it around our own half until we give the ball away. Or, or is it the same as midweek, with Karlsson and Lazetic as a front two with Milanovic in a No.10 role? That would be more interesting. Either way, 1-0 the Dons. Quote
