I assume he's getting a large booing if he comes on at Pittodrie? None of the "I'll support him in a Dons top" pish. This is a fucking rank move.

I hope he doesn’t. It’s a really bizarre signing if there’s no buy option, but the lad is just coming to play football and we all want the dons to succeed. As mentioned, really poor optics, would love an explanation if there’s no buy option. Now, if we sign welsh for 6 months with no buy option then we’ve lost the plot.

perhaps better options are available when we have a manager, or in the summer, but uncomfortable times at present.

Cameron had the chance to come here and “just play football” last year but chose to take the Hun coin instead. We should not be helping him get game time now that decision has bitten him in the arse.

I'm not happy about this but I'll never advocate booing an Aberdeen player, even if he is on loan from them.  Ironically, it's just downright hunnish.

Just as well he’s not a dons player 🤪

You're not really booing the player himself though, it's a public display of anger at the decision to get one of their players ready for first team football. There isn't another way that will satisfactorily show the disgust. A banner doesn't cut it. It needs to be heard, and discussed on the radio/telly. It's just a very obvious protest, and unfortunately for the young laddie, he'll just have to be on the receiving end of it. He did choose the Huns after fucking off the club that raised him. He's basically Connor Barron. The club needs to be held to account, and it needs to be public. I never boo the team at half-time or full-time, or if they pass the ball backwards for the ninetieth time. I'll happily boo this lad, because it's a protest that the club needs to hear, and I'm comfortable that it's not remotely Hunnish to do so in those circumstances.

The tone deafness is unbelievable. The club strategy was to be working towards regularly getting into Europe with a view to pushing the scum all the way. I could almost understand the acceptance that came with the signings of Scales and Christie. We were way off the Tims in terms of budget and points, regularly, with the knowledge that they could just up their spending by a factor of ten if they felt threatened. The Huns are not at that same level though, not even close. They're a good team, with a well salaried first eleven, but beyond that there isn't much to be feared. It seems bizarre that we'd choose to try to close the gap by improving their squad, even in the short term. Of course, we know we're in a bad place and it's only really about optics, but those are important too. It also questions the ability of our recruitment team. Is this really the best they can come up with? An unavailable player? Who plays in a role, and in a way, that we're not short in? Or have we made the catastrophic decision that we have to wait for the new manager before signing anyone, therefore being behind in another window? Has Cormack still not learned from the Hornby, Hendry, Kamberi debacle?

Cameron is just a big no from me. He does not want to be here despite what he says now after his massive failure. He has proven his accepted standards already and they are not good enough for us. Whoever sanctioned this at AFC does not have a clue about the majority of their fanbase or more likely give a toss. They should be hounded out of town as they are obviously a huge part of the disease that is eating our club.

Very poor AFC.

Nothing against the lad & he personally will get my support while here as it won’t help anyone to single him out, but we are not & cannot be a feeder club for anyone up here - let alone them.

AFC are completely losing the fanbase the way they are carrying on.

Lutz will have arranged this, he’s got history with Rohl & some other hun coach apparently.

Did Dave sanction it? Who knows. Hope not.

Someone needs to have a word with Lutz though and get him up to speed on what we’re all about, cause this aint it.

Would love to see last week’s DNA membership figures and compare them at end of next week. Bet they’re down a bit. Glad I don’t bother if this is what its spent on.

Club needs to get a grip, remember who we are, and show some fuckin self respect as well as the required respect to the fanbase.

What a mess we’re in ffs…

Id have thought DC would have known this might not be a good idea, but has maybe bit his tongue to let Lutz do his thing? Wouldnt imagine he(Lutz) thought 'first thing im going to do is loan that Lyall Cameron' either,.....so who the heck would have recommended it??

Wont boo him like, but deary me.....

I think you're all looking at this wrong.

There is every chance that we drag Lyall Cameron down to our sorry level, drive most of his football ability out of him, and send him back to Rangers a shadow of the player he was.

Lutz knows what's he's doing here.

I also want to add we assume the club is stupid or made a mistake. It’s how most of us feel. Perhaps there is a buy agreement, whether in writing or a gentlemen’s handshake. Lutz has relationships with rohl and someone else on staff, perhaps there’s more to it?

what equally confuses me is that he plays a position we don’t need. He may be better than Armstrong Clarkson polvara Shinnie Marshall or any central mid, but more questions than answers as there are certainly other priorities.

Want to get the fans back onside Dave? Get the chequebook out and get this man back up the road.

Could we afford him? Fee and wages? Our best left back in a while. And he’s only 28. I get this ‘player trading model’ but brings experience, knowledge of the league, and maybe leadership??

this i’d get, Cameron I don’t.

A gentlemans agreement with the hun?

Come away min.

They are cunts, pure and simple.

They haven't even paid Dundee a penny for him yet either.

There should just be a rule that we don't do business with them, unless we absolutely have to.

Think his wages would be well out of our league and he is at an age where he will be looking to maximise his earnings.

We're maybe shyte on the pitch, but we've always paid our way

A lot to be said for that in this day and age.

If there's an agreement in writing then the club tells its fans, for obvious reasons. If there's no agreement in writing then a scum gentlemen's agreement is worth absolutely fuck all. If he plays well enough to get into their squad, he's in, and any agreement with us is done. If he doesn't then we've just had a pish player for a few months. He'd have to be really good to make the move worthwhile for even a short term perspective. A guy that wins us 3-4 games with his creativity or goals. In a way that Armstrong, Aouchiche or Clarkson wouldn't. Whilst ensuring that at least one of those is sidelined.

You're not wrong about it being a position we don't need either. Who in the world thought that we were crying out for a lightweight, flashy midfielder?
