Polvara had been turning in some solid performances prior to Killie 2bf.  Imo his best position would likely be a no 10 which doesn't seem to be an option at the moment.  Time will tell but we defo need to shed a few to bring in players more suited to our current strategy.  I would certainly be interested to see how Watson did alongside Aouchiche in those two CM places.

Find it very hard to believe, from the outside looking in, that Polvara is going, but Palaversa is staying. I'd say Palaversa is even more inconsistent than Polvara.

I'm not overly fussed with what Clarkson allegedly said to JT, you have to apply a bit of context around it. The lad was pissed off and told JT his feelings. I don't have an issue with that. Maybe Jimmy is a sensitive soul.

If I was being benched, whilst seeing some of the shit performances, from all our midfielders this season, I'd probably have said far worse than that to him.

I still say Clarkson is the best midfielder at the club and a shame it appears to be ending like this.

I’d agree Palaversa has done nothing to deserve being kept over Polvara - but he’s not out of contract this year.

As for Clarkson, not many workplaces you’ll get away with publicly telling your boss to GTF (apart fae OBI’s obviously ).

Poor attitude was cited as the reason, so I’m guessing the alleged outburst got him in the doghouse & then his ongoing poor attitude and petted lip has got him going out the door.

If we can get some half decent cash, then I’ll take it…

Clarkson said on the Dons social video yesterday that he would be playing Football Manager on the flight over to Prague, and was playing as Aberdeen.

Clearly Thelin is not going to accept him thinking he can do the job better than him. Probably pipes up every 20 minutes to announce Ambrose has just scored a hat-trick in a 7-3 win over Motherwell.

He should have played as Torino and tried Serie A.

NB: Nilsen said he would be writing poems on the flight over, which sounds lovely, but he's not playing either, so they must either be shit or all about Thelin.

If he refuses to sit on the bench, as rumoured, then I'd drive him down the road myself.

I like the loon, but if he doesn't want to be here and not being professional about it, then cheerio.

Tickets on sale for the Raith cup game next month. Season ticket holders have until Jan 6th, to reserve their seat.

£20 adult. £15 under 21, £10 under 18 and £5 for under 12s.

Hopefully get a decent crowd.

Honestly can’t see Watson moving within Scotland. Would be good to see what Marshall can do though. He might be more of a prodigy for Armstrong but we should be building him into a central character in there.

I did hear rumour he was casting admiring glances from Italian clubs so you're probably spot on.

Anyone read the article about thelin not guaranteeing karlsson will be with us all season? I’d assume the karlsson camp aren’t overly happy with how things have gone to date??

I was very excited by Karlsson's early performances ... no doubt a talented footballer, but his obvious skills don't produce enough in team play. Kjartansen produced more in terms of creative effectiveness with one pass v Celtic than Karlsson has produced with all his time on the ball in the last 2,3, 4 .... games.

Seriously ... don't laugh ... but I think losing Karlsson and giving Keskinen more game time on the left would be an improvement ... although, we surely have 'other' options.

I’m not fussed if we were to lose karlsson, but topi has been a major disappointment this season. Many talked about him kicking on, that certainly hasn’t happened. Prefer we even gave milanovic a run on the left, saw a number of highlights before he joined us where he’s on the left. obviously bilalovic getting more minutes is certainly intriguing.

Ditch Karlsson, he's pish. Best for both parties that he leaves. Hasn't managed to take on a single player since joining. He has got an ace touch, a great shot and his dead balls can be sublime, but he's basically a dick.
