Summer 2025 Transfer Window

£300k is an absolute steal for an international proven goalscorer, but it does beg the question, wtf were we doing Low balling it in the first place? We’ve needed a proper striker for some time and this should have been a £500k and done thing months ago. Anyway, glad we’ve finally got him and welcome back.

Feel a bit for Sokler. He was airways second fiddle to Miovski and hasn't really had a consistent run of games in the first team. Has had some very handy goals too.

The others won't be missed. If Nilsen can go this window too, it'll be a good window in terms of outbound

There are about a hundred things involved in a transfer, the narrative that we could’ve spent X more to get him earlier is far too simplistic.

I can't see any confirmation, only "on the verge"

Same for me but seems to have stuck at that for hours

Regarding Nisbet regardless of the £300k being reported as our outlay, this is likely to only be the fee paid to Millwall and as we all know that is actually only one element of many transfer nowadays

Think we all know the true cost will be higher 😉

BBC story now uses the word “hoping” regarding the Nisbet deal.

No that was at 18:08. Since then the glorious "confirmed" announcement has been made in the live text.

Wondering that myself.

would potentially be a helluva signing if we pull that one off (and it turns out to be true).

I think re: Boyd, as long as the paper work is in but deal not finalised etc, then that's fine? I'm sure players get announced the next day sometimes.

Indeed, the competition for Keskinen would be great too

Jesper Karllson

Truth or fictitious shite 🤔

Him and Turnbull. Pull those two off and wholly fuck! Especially when nisbet frame and Turnbull are Scottish.  Funds from Morris gueye and Boyd, plus give bologna the fergie sell on, and maybe a few quid more, it’s doable. In fantasy land most likely. Both are still young enough for a bigger transfer down the road too. Unlikely but spend 5 mins on the hat you get more than excited!

Wages surely make this Swedish boy unlikely?

Turnbull I could see.

Re wages, wasn’t the same said about nisbet? If there’s a relationship with jimmy, win bonuses, goal/assist bonuses, signing in fee etc, there’s a way to make it work.

Some random site has him on €20k per week. We’re not going anywhere near that. We can dream tho…
