  1. Thon United manager looks more like the lead singer in a Kasabian tribute band than he does a football manager.
  2. We're playing some nice football but we look shaky as fuck at the back.
  3. McCrorie in midfield instead of Ojo, Gallagher into defence. Convince me I'm wrong.
  4. Their best player appears to be Thomas Mikkelsen who had some unremarkable spells at Ross County and Dundee Utd.
  5. There's going to be a number of different statues, presumably they're keeping ECWC83 for the Willie Miller iconic pose: And this one for Mark McGhee: Also expect to see Alex McLeish as the Terminator and Gordon Strachan holding a massive glass of milk.
  6. Awful patter from Tosher ”The Hacken goalkeeper has 2 caps for Sweden” ”Aye well ah’ve got 2 baseball caps ken but”
  7. Exhibition stuff from the 10th minute onwards, hopefully we can keep it going and run up a big score and not give them an opportunity to get back into it. Unfortunate 3 of our chances have fallen to Ojo but he has been surprisingly effective on the left wing. Missed the start of the match, who’s the co-commentator? Sounds like every generic Weegie that latches on to you in the hotel bar when you’re on holiday. Excruciating stuff.
  8. Hibs have signed a 24 year old American international striker from the MLS on a pre-contract. Will be interesting to see if he's any good, and if so, why he wasn't flagged by Atlanta's scouting department as a signing for us.
  9. Big Ronnie makes his first start for Atlanta, and scores their only goal. Started the game at left back. He also scored his recent goal for Venezuela playing on the left flank.
  10. Andrew Shinnie signs for Livingston on a 2 year deal.
  11. Go ahead, it means nothing to me...
  12. Interesting to see McCrorie and Considine played the whole match in central of defence whereas everyone else played 45 minutes. Not sure if that means they'll be playing together against Hacken or if it just highlights the lack of depth in that position where we don't even have a young loon to chuck in for 45 minutes in a bounce game against lower league opposition.
  13. Media are reporting that ex-Celtic striker Tommy Johnson is going to be our new Head of Recruitment. Last I heard of him, he was going to join Henrik Larsson's management team at Southend before pulling out at the last moment, scuppering the whole arrangement. Currently doing the same role at Blackpool for last 2 years. A quick glance at their squad doesn't give much indication if he's any good, although I did notice ex-Dons striker Joe Nuttall is there as is Demetri Mitchell who was on loan at Hearts for a while.
  14. Interesting to see the Sun specifically mentioned the charge relates to his time as a footballer and not his plumbing business. If you told me a Dons right back was caught up in a money laundering scheme, Logan wouldn't be my prime suspect.
  15. I guess you would call it prostitution.
  16. Players are allowed, fans are not.
  17. On the other hand, that means we are now looking to sign a defender that our management team considers not to be as good as Clark Robertson. Failing that, whoever they find sleeping on a bench outside of Atlanta United's reserve team stadium.
  18. What have they done to the pitch? Everyone is slipping all over the place. Surely they haven’t watered it to enable Croatia to play slick passes all over the place?
  19. I don't think any England players got close enough to him.
  20. I always prefer to play home first. Keep a clean sheet at home and you can go into the 2nd leg knowing for every goal you score, they need to score more. Nothing worse than defending a 1 goal lead at home in the 2nd leg. And if you get humped in the 1st leg at home, you can try to change your flights to go to Tenerife instead.
  21. Doesn't seem to be any standout players in their squad although Martin Olsson played at a high level in England and is currently in the Sweden Euro 2020 squad.
  22. If it's Belarus, will we need to travel by land if EU airlines are boycotting their airspace and their airlines are banned from EU airspace? The Lithuanian team looks easiest. Hacken could be tricky, as they will be in the middle of their football season and will be fresher, but currently bottom of the Swedish league.
