Even though the teams we've played are not top-shelf, 10 different scorers in 3 games 4 games
is impressive.
I think one of the reasons that we have done way better lately is that we don't underestimate any teams any more. Going 5 games out of 6 without conceding a goal shows that I think. Also, we have a team of guys who are playing to keep their place in the team for next season. But Aberdeen being Aberdeen...
I enjoy watching the bike racing on the telly but the thought of standing next to some guy with a whistle and a big bedsheet and missing the bikes go by because I'm trying to open my bottle of Prosecco is not my idea of a holiday.
Was friends with him on Facebook. The man was a gent and I had some great chats with him about his playing career. He told me that Jinky Johnstone was the best player he ever played against. I think he only missed One or Two games through injury in a time when football was a bit more "agricultural".
R.I.P Ally.
I kept looking at Livescore during the night and was pissed off we were 3-0 down. Turned my phone off when it was around the 90th minute. I got up this morning to see that Aberdeen FC had been beaten 6-0. The first thing I thought was I never knew the women's team were playing Celtic. My mouth dropped when I saw what had happened and it's still fucking dropped. In the army, they break you down and then build you back up again. This fucking team does that to me constantly. Up and fucking down.
