They are games in one of the two competitions we have a realistic chance of winning. Not advocating having the number of games under Goodwin but at the same time would have liked at least a couple more games before we start the competitive games.

I was expecting it to be shite but there has been some attacking intent especially from Portugal. France have had flashes but have seem set on penalties from mid way through second half.

Turkey beat the impressive Austrians 2-1. Really good game with Turkish keeper making an outstanding save right at the end to prevent extra time.

Comfortable 3-0 win for Dutch in the end. They played much better than they did in the group games. Romania were decent for first 15 minutes but Dutch first goal just flattened them.
