Agreed why walk away from the guaranteed cash and after this shitshow he’s not likely to get another well paying gig for a while. Milk it for all it’s worth would be my impartial advice.
As comfortable a win as I have seen at Pittodrie in a while. In control from the start and there was clearly a 4 division gap between the teams. As others have said Palaversa again looked good today but as Orlando said the that should be caveated with the standard of opposition.
Only complaint was not sticking on the 4-0 I said prematch.
I think the only thing saving Naismith at the moment is the fact the Hearts board only extended his contract last month. Suspect the board are hoping he will resign to save face for them and it will be at least the next international break before they act if things don’t improve.
Victims battering Slovan Bratislava in CL. Currently 4-1 up and could easily be another couple ahead.
Meanwhile in EFL cup Spurs are losing again. Postecoglou will be coming under increasing pressure.
Looked solid enough for his first game. Think he will need to have a few games to get used to speed of game here. As others said on match thread I think he looks more a defensive holding mid than a box to box player but that’s based on one game only.
Think we should start with strongest side available get the game put to bed then make changes. On that basis if Shinnie had recovered from whatever the illness was then he should come back in for Palaversa. Once we are two or 3 up then make changes if we need to. Easier to defend a lead than have to bring players on to chase the game.
Saw Spartans draw 0-0 with Peterhead a couple of weeks ago and can’t say they really had anything that should frighten us. Jamie Dishington and Blair Henderson are their best players along with Hamish Ritchie but he is injured currently.

If Clarkson is fit would like to see him coming in for Gueye and play in behind Striker with McGrath and Keskinen wide. Nisbet’s goal in the last game would see him getting nod over Sokler for me as our striker.
As Manc says Motherwell seem to be in decent for and can see this being our toughest test so far. However to add to our problems I am also going to game which usually ends badly.
