It's not often you hear of a medical being delayed a couple of weeks due to injury. Do the Dons medical team not have kit sophisticated enough to work out if an injury is serious or not? Then again it could be a prudent move and may explain why Darlington are keen to ship out.

Supposedly being shipped out by Darlington so as they can sign Clayton Donaldson from Hibs!!

Think to have a decent starting 11 still need another striker, RB and centre half. Still think the squad is lacking any real quality in depth as well so in an ideal world would like to see at least two if not three decent quaility loan signings being brought in to provide cover.

Was there not some ridiculous fee (in our terms) being touted around?

Swindon has a bid of £150K accepted but player rejected the move. Would think £150K plus wages would be well outside our price range.

Can also add Hart McNamara and Clark to the out list and Duff to the in list. Agree with Funster that not a lot of quality among the players who have left however the reduction numbers does leave us with a weaker overall squad. 

Might only be me but I am not to upset about this guy possibly going. Is way to slow for the scottish game and also injury prone. As long as he is being replaced and we get a fee for him then this is no bad thing.

- Have you got the right manager? - On a few occasions he has looked the real deal but on many many more he has looked a clueless balloon so probably no.

- What advice would you give him? - Play the ball on the ground we look like a decent team when we do that.

- Opposition player you despise - Pretty much all of them

- Opposition player you secretly admire - Barry Robson

- Where will you finish? - anywhere from 3rd to 11th

Hard to judge the guy from clips from dutch 2nd division as standard there can vary from what I have seen. Remember JDV looked good on clips from this level but has turned out to be short of what is required to play in SPL. Will only be able to judge this guy if/when we sign him and see him against SPL opposition.

Both St Mirren and Killie look good bets. Surprised Hamilton are odds on for the drop. Anyone know their odds for staying up?

Been to a few junior games at the end of this season and standard was alot better than I was expecting. Only thing I complained about was lack of a programme at a coupl of the games and the pies at Linlithgow being even worse than Pittodrie.

What else are you going to do on a Saturday min?

Watch other football and get drunk. Not saying I will not attend any Dons games just that I have seen nothing so far to convince me to make the comitment to attend every home game.

In no particular order

Coming from 2-0 down to draw at snake mountain with a Bett double in last 10 mins. 1990 I think.

Winning 3-1 at Parkhead with a team of youngsters including Jess and Booth in 1990. Could have been 6 or 7.

Beating Hearts 6-2 at Pittodrie playing some of best football I have ever seen from a Dons team.

Billy Dodds goal at Tynecastle that put us 2-1 up and above Arabs in relegation battle.

Cannot think of anymore at the moment.
