  1. He worked hard last night but have to say that for a striker his goal threat was nil. Cannot remember him getting near a header in their box from any of our corners or free kicks last night which for such a tall striker is not good. As for his flick ons they very rarely fell to a dons player. He always seemed to manage to direct them to areas where no dons players were. Now you could blame the other players for not reading the flicks but when Brewster played his flick ons nearly always fell to Dons players so not sure this arguement is correct.

  2. Jagerdeen Vindicated.

Clean Sheet - defence looked good - especially considine.

2 great saves from JL.  Only 2 shots on target from the Neeps!

Only problem wi Langfield was he seemed to kick the baa afie far!

We were very unlucky to come awa withoot a goal the nicht.

We'll go there and win 1-0... in the last minute.

JUTE - Think I saw you on telly in the lower RDS the night!  (Prawn sandwich muchin b4stard!!!)

Nah in the SS last night.

On topic I thought Langfield did ok last night apart for the usual woeful kicking but did not see that he did anything that Souter could not have done. Be interesting to see who is in for Sunday.

  3. Does anyone know if the club are going to (even try) arranging (or recommend) ways for fans to go to the away leg? I have waited for 5 years for a proper away trip, and I don't want to totally rule it out yet...

If you look on Red Web club have announced a "offical travel partner" for the trip who are putting together a package. Also passport travel are talking of putting a charter on.

I have booked trip from Wednesday to Saturday for 3 of us going from Edinburgh to Kiev via Amsterdam then train to Dnipro. Total cost looking to be about £360 each including accomodation. Cannot see the charters coming in for much less than £500 (passports trip to Ukraine last year for Scotland game was around this level) so you will propbaly be cheaper arranging it for yourself.

  4. Looking down the list there are some great potential trips in there. For selfish reasons would like any of the Romanian, Bulgarian or Russian teams as never been to these countries, any of the Spanish, Italian or Danish teams as I love visiting these countries and lastly any of the Czech teams as they are beatable.................... and the beer is the best in Europe.

Do not want to go to Iseral as expensive to get to or anyone from the Ukraine as its a dump and anywhere but Kiev is a pain in the arse to get to. However if we do get drawn in any of these places I will still try all possible means to get there.

  5. Going 1 up front after going 1-0 up yesterday was unbelievable. Where did JC get this reputation as an attacking manager? Hearts were there for the taking but were far to negative in our outlook to take advantage.

Cannot see why everyone is raving about Jackie Mac. Apart from giving the ball away for the goal I cannot remember him doing anything yesterday apart from pass the ball sideways or backwards.

Lastly long balls to a lone striker against two 6ft plus monsters why?

Thankfully I will not be here for the Celtic game as off on holiday tonight for a week as I can see Celtic giving us a right going over.

  6. Clark is maintaining that he didnt leave the park and it was mistaken identity. Might well have been Mackie who left the field. Can we not appeal it - a la Kingston- just so he can play in the Hun game?

Do not think you can appeal yellow cards. Only Red cards for violent conduct.
