Just watched Portland v LA game from last night. 5-3 to LA. Really good game with some good goals. Boyd got 2 of Portland's goals with other one coming from rebound off a Boyd shot.

I see Caley chairman admits in his statement that Doncaster was carrying out the wishes of some of the SPL clubs.

SFA and SPL should be pushed for statments on this today. SPL clubs themselves could of course kill any speculation tonight by saying that they will not vote to form an SPL 2 or readmit Newco to SPL. Bet they don't.

Would be stunned if there was not of no confidence in Regan today from SFL clubs. I cannot see SPL club doing the same however in either Regan or Doncaster given deafaning silence from them on the pish being spouted by these two.

Not so sure. I think the resaon they have held off voting on who gets up is to keep a space open to readmit Newco if SFL does not give into pressure and do as the SPL wants by putting them into SFL 1.

Did anyone notice that at the start of the piece that STV claimed that SFL 1 is the SPL clubs preferred option. Contradicts statements from our chairman. Wonder if we will set record straight tomorrow before the meeting.

How in a 16 team league will they get the 4 old firm matches that they tell us we must have to keep the tv companies interested? Looks to me like clubs (including our own) have been conning us since the start. They was never any intention of going down the sporting integrity route and making Newco apply to start again at the bottom as anybody else would have. If it had not been for fan pressure they would have been in the SPL already.

As I said on another thread if the SPL clubs did not agree with what Doncaster and Regan were doing they would have said so by now. Not one has come out and said that. Leads me to conclude that they are both acting with the blessing if not instrcution of the SPL clubs.
