No faith in either keeper to be honest but have slightly more in Langfield than I do Howard. From what I have seen as soon as Howard get put under any pressure he looks very shakey especially at cross balls. Langfield is not much better. Not sure what game were you at. Maguire was out wide most of the game with Pawlett lost in the middle. We got murdered on the flanks for the whole game. Lack of full backs is going to kill us this season. Agree Veron looks utter shite but we created very little. Think their keeper had about 4 saves in the whole game. Only in midfield did we look any good with Folly a stand out however without Aluko in there we did not look like creating much. Really hope his injury is not as bad as is being suggested.

Scored 19 goals in 47 league games for Hearts between 2006 and 2008 but since then has only managed 9 league games 4 goals for Huns and Bristol due to injuries. If we can keep him fit then I think he is a decent signing however the keeping him fit bit seems to be the problem.

Lets not forget we have only played Hamilton, St Johnstone, Alloa and Killie in those games so we should not be expecting to concede many goals against these teams. Also none of these teams had out and out wingers to exploit our lack of full backs. Agree that when fit Velicka should provide a genuine goal threat however he has been injured for the last two years.

Still no right back though. And when was the last time Velicka kicked a ball in anger. We play one up front and now have 7 strikers on our books. Think its a pretty poor bit of business myself.

Just do not get this deal. We get rid of our only full back to bring in yet another striker. A striker who has not been fit for two years into the bargin. Can only assume that Foster was on a decent wage and has been let go to free up funds and would also assume huns are paying wages for Velicka.
