  1. Was never a 4-0 game. Dalkeith played well and you would not have thought they were 3 divisions below Broxburn for the majority of the game. In the other tie played last night Tynecastle lost 3-2 to Hill of Beath.
  2. Missed Girona game the other day. They had a lot of departures over summer and are in rebuild mode. I will be really surprised if Miovski doesn’t get more game time soon. On tonight’s game Atletico just nicked what looks like a late winner. Madrid derby on Sunday.
  3. Forgot the blue bigots were playing. At least good for co efficient and our champions league campaign next season. Been watching Spanish games. Las Palmas v Real Betis earlier and Celta Vigo v Atletico Madrid on just now. Completely forgot about European games.
  4. Like it more that black and gold effort but at £68 it’s still expensive.
  5. Looking forward to this one. Dundee’s early season form seems to have faded and we still seem to be rolling along. Sale of McGowan will weaken them as well. Would expect Shinnie to return to line up and Palaversa to drop to the bench although Palaversa has played well in last couple of games. In train then pub away end pub then train back to capital 2-0 Nisbet and Clarkson.
  6. Glad you agree.
  7. 3rd strip for United and Motherwell away is my guess.
  8. No thanks as he really got Sunderland playing some good stuff. Would rather the avoided anyone with a decent track record.
  9. Naismith gone. Hopefully they done hire anyone competent.
  10. Agreed why walk away from the guaranteed cash and after this shitshow he’s not likely to get another well paying gig for a while. Milk it for all it’s worth would be my impartial advice.
  11. As comfortable a win as I have seen at Pittodrie in a while. In control from the start and there was clearly a 4 division gap between the teams. As others have said Palaversa again looked good today but as Orlando said the that should be caveated with the standard of opposition. Only complaint was not sticking on the 4-0 I said prematch.
  12. I think the only thing saving Naismith at the moment is the fact the Hearts board only extended his contract last month. Suspect the board are hoping he will resign to save face for them and it will be at least the next international break before they act if things don’t improve.
  13. Motherwell ahead from penalty spot in injury time. Stupid challenge by United defender.
  14. United snatch late equaliser with a cracking strike by Moult.
  15. Martindale’s star pupil.
  16. Spurs escape act complete 2-1 now.
  17. 5-1 Victims now. Spurs have just equalised with 3 minutes left.
  18. Victims battering Slovan Bratislava in CL. Currently 4-1 up and could easily be another couple ahead. Meanwhile in EFL cup Spurs are losing again. Postecoglou will be coming under increasing pressure.
  19. The things you do while high on drugs.
  20. St Johnstone fans I work with both mentioned Leven. Other name they mentioned was Ian Murray.
  21. Looked solid enough for his first game. Think he will need to have a few games to get used to speed of game here. As others said on match thread I think he looks more a defensive holding mid than a box to box player but that’s based on one game only.
  22. Think we should start with strongest side available get the game put to bed then make changes. On that basis if Shinnie had recovered from whatever the illness was then he should come back in for Palaversa. Once we are two or 3 up then make changes if we need to. Easier to defend a lead than have to bring players on to chase the game. Saw Spartans draw 0-0 with Peterhead a couple of weeks ago and can’t say they really had anything that should frighten us. Jamie Dishington and Blair Henderson are their best players along with Hamish Ritchie but he is injured currently. In train then pub Y Night out in Aberdeen 4-0 Nisbet x2 Gueye and McGrath ETA - Ritchie made his return from injury at Elgin tonight from the bench and scored.
  23. Official announcement from St Johnstone. Had been coming.
  24. No Shinnie which none of us predicted. Clarkson on the bench
