I've not paid a lot of attention to this as it's not likely to affect me personally as I plan to go for my US citizenship when I qualify.

Could anyone kind of summarise the for/against arguments for me? I have my own opinions, which are probably based on misinformation, but I know, believe it or not, that a lot of people here, on finding out I'm a Scot (might be the accent) ask me about this and genuinely want to have some sort of feeling about how Scotland feels about this. Especially as I'm going to be dealing with a lot of Eastern European/former Soviet residents
