  1. How long until they are finally relegated? I actually hope Boro stay up, not only for TF's sake, but I quite like Southgate, just doesn't seem to be working out for him at the moment.
  2. I think Bebo did really well today. Yes ok, he should have probably finished one or two more, but the fact is, he created some of these chances for himself and generally had a very positive effect on our forward play. I hope that his progress continues and that maybe next season we see him and Miller making a decent forward partnership. We've seen glimpses of his talent earlier, I hope he continues what he appears to be doing (i.e. head down and rolling socks up etc...). I just pray his ego doesn't get in the way of things and obviously that he doesn't get dropped when Mackie is fit again. He deserves a run out in the team for the foreseable future (form permitting). Keep up the progress Bebo!
  3. What I hate most, is the fact that they never seem to complete those fucking adverts! I mean, how many times can they rinse the whole "will they or won't they" get back together?!?!
  4. Great second goal for Man United. Sorry TF, Boro looked doomed.
  5. A favourite player of mine too which was why I mentioned him specifically I've never actually thought of it like that but its true, there isn't that all round midfielder anymore. Even Scholes, one of the best midfielders of my generation, he can attack but christ, his tackles are as bad as seve's attitude.
  6. I completely agree. I can't remember the last crunching tackle I saw (probably clark last season) let alone a midfielding performance like that. Don't get me wrong, I love what Kerr does and think he's a great player, but he doesn't take games by the scruff of the neck like I imagine Grant and van den Ven did. I don't remember the game (didn't have sky and too young to be in a pub) but its something that I remember Bisco doing. A passion and a determination to not let the opposition frighten/influence you.
  7. I've got to disagree, its because of the players/club that we've given up on the season already. Had they shown they'd given a fuck over the season, there wouldn't be so much apathy surrounding the club. I don't expect us to win the league, I expect to show us a good account of ourselves and be stronger at home than we are away. I don't expect us to win everygame, far from it, football is a game that depends on a number of factors, luck being one of them. However, the manner in which we have conceded defeat and goals this season has been bordering ridiculous. There is a distinct lack of passion and desire which in the end influences the support. I knew we'd lose today, thats not to say I didn't have hope and optimism before/during it and hell on another day/parallel universe, we could have scored a cricket score. If the support had felt like this from the start of the season and not supported the team, I wouldn't blame them, however there have been a number of occassions that the fans have turned up, and what do they get? An inept performance which turns them off again. We've turned up once this season, Hearts at home. I can't think of any other occassion where the fans have turned up in numbers and the team has performed.
  8. You know I'm not usually pessimistic, I think its more realistic than anything else. I've had all optimism knocked out of me this season. Everytime I begin to hope, they fail to deliver. I mean, I know this is the Aberdeen way, it just feels that its been worse than normal. I have no idea why. I hope we get some form of result on Thursday, because boy do we need it!
  9. Alas, I am of the same opinion Today signalled the end of fourth, as I've always maintained, I don't think we'll win at tannalice, and they have the knack of scoring late goals (as seen today). But we'll just have to wait and hope.
  10. I thought Maguire was unlucky with that chance and Wright, the ball just wouldn't fall for him, although he should have taken a touch to control it.
  11. I wondered whether or not that was where the chopper was at! Can hear it buzzing away.
  12. When I was in Cardross a few weeks back, I saw guy walking a cat!
  13. You'd like to hope so, but I think that maybe an irrelevancy now that the arabs have beaten hivs today. I can't see us getting a result at tannalice which means they will have a healthy cushion over us. Stranger things have happened, but I just don't see where the inspiration and desire is going to come from.
  14. Don't be blaming me! The arabs always score late goals
  15. Currently 2-1 Falkirk, though they are a man down which may be their downfall. Killie are still trailing, and St Midden have just equalised against Caley. Hopefully the game at Easter Road remains the same
  16. It was nice to see them both get a run out and I don't think either of them did badly, Pawlett the better of the two as you quite rightly say. I really thought we deserved a draw out of that game, but to be fair to those tattie cunts they took their chances, whereas we didn't. It really was one of those, if only games. Entertaining game nonetheless, but there didn't seem to be many in the Y?
  17. Aye and you get plenty of student's there these days. Quite a few of the "bohemian" crowd. I know its had a rep before, but they seemed to have sorted it. Killie really don't offer anything to the league, I would love it if both them and Hamilton could get relegated, but I think I would probably prefer Killie given that it can't happen.
  18. I have no idea, as I said, I made my decision sharpish and carried on past the bar. Didn't fancy looking at them too long! 2-1 to the huns of the south now.
  19. 1-1 in the West End of London derby already
  20. Aye I was getting confused with that and the huns game. Don't actually know why I wrote that Good win for Man United today. Keeps the pressure on the scousers, hopefully they will buckle this weekend. I was going to watch the tim game in The Halt bar on Woodlands, walked past it earlier today and saw some dodgy characters that looked like casuals, so thought better of it. Turns out, at full time, about 30 odd folk had a brawl, bottles flying everywhere outside, police came along with a helicopter monitering the situation!
  21. I don't think we can afford to let United futher away from us. That is why I think we need Hibs to win tomorrow.
  22. Felt bad for him. Thought he'd had a solid game up until then. You just knew that that was the turning point in the game though. We're not strong enough mentally to come back from a goal down. It totally took his confidence away, though he had some solid moments in the second half. I thought Seve played pretty poorly again, and certainly should have done better with his first chance.
  23. :ultras: :ultras: :ultras: COME ON YOU REDS, GET FIRED INTO THESE IRISH IMPOSTER BASTARDS!
  24. First time i've ever had an application pack. Would be tempted if I knew I was going to be here next year. On a side note, I just saw a kid in a restaurant in Glasgow wearing a dons top with Kerr on the back
  25. Anyone see The Inbetweeners yesterday? "Alopecia of the ball bag"
