  1. I'd like us to go with our strongest team here, none of this resting players nonsense. We need to progress at all costs and we need a cup run. I was really impressed with Duk yesterday, offered a helluva lot, btw was he injured in the end or just a dead leg?? If we were to make a change, I may consider Miovski for Ramirez, may give him the fire in his belly again. I'm avoiding Richardson as I just can't see him being dropped. Anyway this won't be an easy one by any stretch. They're scoring lots of goals and on top of the championship (level on points with caley) so our defence will need to be focused... Out Breakfast Commute Work 2-1 Dons, Ramirez + Miovski
  2. Also, results have gone our which means we’ll fuck it up. A chance to go one point with third and a game in hand.
  3. I see (thanks jute) that the club are offering free match day bus transport with first, if you download the app and redeem using the code afcmatchbus.
  4. 5-1, a decent pumping. Hopefully they're suitably demoralised some Sunday.
  5. Highly enjoyable result. One of the rare occasions i'll be thankful for the bin dippers.

Must be, which is a huge shame. I was hoping they'd got to the bottom of his injury problems. You'd think he would be on the bench even if they were trying to bring him back slowly.

Didn’t they say to expect three months of hell? I’m expecting far longer than that…
  8. Hoping to catch some of the World Cup when it’s over here next year. Be nice if Scotland could make it
  9. So after that embarrassingly disastrous game against the arabs, we have Hearts at home. We have a chance here given we are at home, but we'll no doubt play hearts back into form too. The other positive is they'll be coming back from Florence, hopefully a pumping there with a few injuries for good measure. Huge shake up of mentality required, and I'm hopeful we'll see a reaction. Too many didn't turn up last weekend, it's not like the chances weren't there. How do we set up? Do we move McCrorie out to the right? Personally, I can't see it, not unless Richardson is injured. I'd like to see Barron get more of a run out too, but we can't rush him back, especially against a team like Hearts. Is it time to drop Miovski? Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1 Dons, McCrorie and Duk
  10. Finished the second series last month, agreed, excellent viewing. Hopefully Al's suggestion makes it down here. TVNZ have been pretty good with their offerings. Unlike Netflix, who only just released the third series of Derry Girls recently.
  11. The parallels to Lee Sharpes apparent calmness post match to mcghees 9-0 was pretty shocking.
  12. A truly shit performance.
  13. Completely disproportionate. He deserved a ban for his daft comments and admitting to trying to influence the ref. Maybe he had some really bad advice? But still, 8 games and being deferred by two games is absolutely ridiculous.
  14. 3,700 tickets sold so far with 300 available, should be a cracking atmosphere. Hopefully the team oblige and put on a good performance.
  15. Always great to see more Dons podcasts popping up , will check it out
  16. I was actually wondering that myself. I mean we all know god and the planet hates the USA , but hopefully he’s ok. we’re due winter pt.2 here in wellington. Or 3, I forget. It’s spring now but they’re predicting snow here down to 200m. A rarity in these parts that’s for sure. I should have put that in the sna thread, my bad.
  17. We'll be away in the UK for a long period of time, so would rather it wasn't left empty I agree with you, I heard the BBC team talking about it but it just made me nervous. I'm not confident enough in this team to think they'll swat them away, even if they should!
  18. Reminder this is a 6PM kick off, be interesting how this works out for both clubs fans. Great for me as I potentially get to watch us on Sunday morning, but imagine there’ll be a fair few boozed up dandies Onto the football, arabs have had a dreadful season so far, but they’ve not lost the last few games by much. So they’ve obviously tightened up after the alkmaar and Tims pumping. Not that that would have been difficult. obviously out last game was decent enough. 4-1 probably flattered us by who cares. There were a lot of positives to take from the game (Morris isn’t one of them) but hopefully we can start to try and put a bit of a run together. It’s a great opportunity to get up to third with saints playing the huns and hibs playing Motherwell. It was great to see Besuijen stepping up, but I want to see it more regularly. He’s not the only one of course. Do we stick with the same team and set up as we did against killie? I think Watkins earned another start, and it’ll be interesting to see if Ramirez is gradually brought back into the fray. out bed hopefully the living room Meeting house sitters 2-1 miovski and duk

    Ramsay

Aye, think it was a gym photo from memory, so probably wasn’t full training yet. Be great if he made his debut in November
  20. It was criminal. He was quite clearly the best option. I had said to Jute elsewhere I thought it was Duk, but my boys were playing up and missed the replay.
  21. Good result, decent performance too. Gave them a bit too much of the ball at times, but overall, controlled the game I thought. I'm so glad to see the right Besuijen today, that's the player I expected to see when we got him. If he can hit that level a bit more frequently, then we've got ourselves a player. Was good to see Ramirez too, as we're probably going to need to use him between now and Jan (if anything even happens then). I thought he looked keen. I missed the start, what was the reception for McInnes like? Just glad we got the 3 points, even better that we knocked them for four.
  22. You mean your display name? Quite sure you can do this under profile - account settings. But i've never tried it myself.
  23. Folk need to understand that there will be consequences for their actions (unless you're a minted corrupt cunt). Much like Al, I have no sympathy for him. He chose his direction.
  24. Surprising. Very surprising given they're due to sign someone above him are they not? To handle transfers etc? Maybe he's accepted that's where it went wrong with us. From a couple of pods i've listened to, it seems he's not had his first team available until the most recent game (Jones and another I think). So I wonder how he sets them up.
  25. I was going to hold off until the Killie game to pass judgement, but I don't think you're far off. I think it's fair to say that if Coulson was more available, he wouldn't be with us. So as it stands, he's the calibre of player we want, just not the consistency. The ones i'm most disappointed by are Besuijen and Stewart tbh. I'm not sure Besuijen has what it takes. It's certainly not skill as he has it, but seems to just not produce it consistently enough, nor make the right decisions. Stewart I thought started well but has been struggling of late. Maybe you're right, he's playing a level above and has been found out by the opposition? I thought he played well against the Tims, but we're not playing that level of quality week in week out. I'd have thought the lesser teams would be more his level. Goodwin, I'm not sure he's the one, but we really need to have a decent season and a bit to see what he's about. We can't go chopping and changing each season it gets tough. I expect a lot of unpredictability due to the squad we have, but still think he / we've made some questionable signing decisions. I'm still happy that DM is not in the home dugout this weekend though. Regardless of what happens, he was well due his jotters. Interesting to see what reception he gets. Personally, I hope theres not any animosity from the Dons faithful.
