  1. I'm sure there was a documentary about it? Using old quaries etc...that or it was in Gomorra.
  2. I remember hearing about that on the news actually (the bin strike). Luckily we are heading south I believe, girlfriends folks have a villa hired in the countryside somewhere. I'm hoping the sea has been cleaned out since than, not high on my list swimming with tampons...not the type of deep sea diving I enjoy
  3. Congrats MBT! Not something I'm planning even though I'm triathlon training , all in moderation I say! Actually had a nice local IPA tonight.
  4. Fucking Hun bastards. The spfl should (although never are) be completely ashamed of themselves. Disgraceful behaviour. Hun cunts.

    It's Time

    Calm down rocket, eh.
  6. A disaster that often gets forgotten about by the mouthier cousins. I will most certainly be buying this, terrible tragedy that all clubs have hopefully learnt from.
  7. Was thinking that earlier today, would be nice for one of the "big ones" not to win it. Porto have a good team with depth again And then again, let's all laugh at huns mk 2 Edit: also meant to say as well, Suarez's second last night was sublime. Nutmegging Luiz twice was hilarious!
  8. Suns out, feels like it should be beer O'clock! Think i'll be having one of these tonight:
  9. I've always liked J-Shau and Low, but they just didn't seem to make the grade. Shame really but for the positions they play in, I can't really see them getting much game time in the future. Had completely forgotten we even have Robertson until recently. Hopefully wi_09, that won't happen. Certainly happened with Aberdeen of old, but i'd like to think we're a different club now! Just the authorities to beat now
  10. Plenty more holidays to take after all that's done A few small breaks this year, off to Cornwall for May bank holiday and then Italy in July, around the Naples region. Anyone been before?
  11. Agreed, you'd have thought they'd want to maximise their viewing audience. I really don't want to see those pricks win it at our place, which is probably want those fuckers want.
  12. Very intrigued to see where he ends up. I know a lot of people are targeting Premier League clubs, but who's to say Ancelotti is guaranteed his spot at Real? or even at Barca? I do feel bad for him, always had a lot of respect for Dortmund and it must have been incredibly frustrating. This season especially.
  13. It's really not that difficult...but yes, same shambles as per usual
  14. I see they're delaying the decision due to the police input. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32312805
  15. So the Arabs seem to be in a similar free fall to Hamilton at the moment, so it's the perfect time to play them. They've had one win in the last 5, whereas we've had 3 wins and 2 draws. Head to head, it's been a bit mixed, obviously they beat us 2-1 in Jan. Would possibly stick with the same starting XI as we had last weekend. Though I can see Jack coming in for either Smith or flood, the former more likely. In / Out: Out Pre Matcher: Cycling Match: Flat Post Match: Watching the United - Chelsea game Prediction: 2-1 Dons, Logan and Rooney
  16. I had completely forgotten the champions league was even on until a colleague reminded me. Sounded like the atleti keeper kept them in it, unbeaten in 7 against Real, not bad at all. The English championship is fairly hitting up, incredibly tight at the top! Pretty hard to see who will get promotion / play offs.
  17. His railway programmes, particularly around Europe were brilliant! Anyway, I think it's been quite obvious for a long time that it's a status thing. Britain does not want to be seen as it actually is, a marginal world wide force. the jobs thing and providing a reason to go to that area of the country is a concern (yes I get the tourism thing but that's not going to happen over night). A lot of jobs will be lost and the local economy will suffer. Will it be worth it? Yes, most definitely. It's a massive drain on our resource and for what gain? I'm not seeing it. Nice article about Hans Blix by Jon Snow: http://blogs.channel4.com/snowblog/hans-blix-advises-britain-abandon-trident/20426
  18. Genuinely, I am. Ecclestone seems to love whoring it out to everything.
  19. I see Delia is raising his ugly head again, that said i'm sure BBC are more than willing to encourage it. "Aberdeen not out of Title race yet" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32304524
  20. Welcome aboard SdG! Certainly remember the _whooosh_ name on Mad when i've checked, always wondered why that was
  21. Saw that in the EE, great that the manager actually acknowledges that too. If only the powers higher up would do too! Good luck to all involved, can only help, and if it has a positive effect on the team, even better. Just wonder how much of it the players can actually hear though from the top of the RDS? SS would make sense, right next to the away support :ultras:
  22. Two clear front runners so far! Have to say, the biggest disappointment for me this season has been Pawlett. Seems to have completely gone off the boil and lost a bit of pace as well.
  23. Very true, would hate to see their gloating faces!
  24. Id go with that, i'd much rather see Shinnie as Left Back. Not had one since i've supported the Dons, well, not a decent or proper one. If Jack goes, I hope it's for decent money.
