  1. We've been incredibly lucky so far with nature here in Wellington. Had some Southern Right Whales earlier in the year, get plenty of sting rays, the odd penguin, then last week we got a Leopard Seal relaxing on a beach and a couple of Orcas in one of the bays a couple of days later. Managed to get some decent shots of the leopard seal. It's a long weekend here so hoping to get out on the bike tomorrow. Weather, despite the predictions, has been distinctly average
  2. Cracking shot. Many a time trying to get the salmon at falls of shin, clearly should have gone here instead.
  3. Really hope this is the season he's given and chance and steps up. We've seen flashes but the consistency needs to be there. This is the one fixture I miss, loved an away day at Tyne, a few jars at the roseburn beforehand, standing for the full 90 mins and having a good sing song. Good Times. Hope the team see this as a good opportunity to try and build some momentum. We need to be confident going into the semi. Hearts 1 dons 1, shinnie
  4. That's a wholly different argument, Rocket. I was of the opinion that only a man and a woman should be parents to children, but as my partner pointed out, you get shit parents no matter what. If a kid is going to happy and loving household, well we shouldn't stand in the way of that. The tranny cyclist should be in their own category and shouldn't be able to claim victory in a straight sex event. If it was me I'd be embarrassed to even pretend it was a level playing field and claiming victory. It's morally fraudulent. That said, it's not their fault the category doesn't exist. maybe this will spur the development on as much like in the paralympics where you have different events based on disabilities, I fail to see how not being male or female is any different.
  5. The Informer, we've even got it on TV NZ! Great BBC production, only watched a couple of episodes so far, but really good. Quite comical in places but also amusing seeing places I used to frequent on occasion. Lots filmed around Hackney / Shadwell / Whitechapel
  6. Good on afc. Fuck the weegie bastards
  7. Been approached by someone to ask both Logan and Robson some questions for an online magazine. Thought we'd open it up to the floor. Will send the link round once it's done Anyone got any particular questions they'd like to put forward?
  8. Some guy on fez book saying he'd gone to the club shop today and we'd only sold 8,200. Hopefully a decent performance at the weekend may say a few more to get tickets.
  9. Have been there myself, nice food and coffee. Was very impressed actually
  10. This is where there needs to be a physical divide. You cannot have a trans competing in a straight single sex event. They're not the same, regardless of what they feel emotionally and any operation they've had. Their genetics are completely different to those they are competing against. A separate category has to be created as It's not an even playing field imo
  11. Proper football this weekend, thank god. Wish it was on a better time, damn 3PM kick offs
  12. Hardly surprising so few have been sold. Fans have been completely sold up the river with this one. Shame, because the huns will love it.

    Films

Cardboard Gangsters, an irish film, amusing and decent watch
  14. Blessed with good coffee shops / cafes here in Wellington. One of my favourites being scorchorama in Scorching bay. View across the bay and watch the interislander sail past.
  15. Another pumping I see. How did the dons players play? Saw Shinnie / GMS essentially created the consolation goal
  16. It's great for the club and I'm very pleased for the players. My apathy is towards the general sfa and their set up. Not our players
  17. Nice wee article in the Scotsman with him. Paid Aberdeen a compliment too, seems like a very level headed guy
  18. From reading the article, you can understand why
  19. Could you imagine this sort of thing happening in scotland? Doubt it.
  20. Really nice, although gutting interview. I'd known a bit about him, but these things get lost among fans hyperbole and hysteria. Very sad to think what he could have achieved.
  21. Ridiculous decision. As much as I hope we sell out our allocation, I also hope no one bothers. Not the clubs fault, squarely the SPFL's (and also the SFA's for sticking with that shitehole).
  22. I suppose from my perspective, it's more frustration than anything else. This situation could and should have been avoided, we had a chance to change it all. As I said, it's the right course of action and hopefully it'll lead to something positive.
  23. It's the right course of action, tlg, but I feel that this situation is of his own making. Do you not agree that it's a bit rich coming from him?
  24. Bit rich for Milne to call for this. He made this situation by telling us all to move on.
  25. is the right answer. Standard pish from the retard.
