I've held off replying to this topic again, as it got me thinking and certainly didn't want recent results to blur my thought process. Overall, yes, he's been worth it. The transformation around the club is there for all to see. From top to bottom, things run a lot smoother and it feels like a professionally run club. Yes there are things I've disagreed with, but they're never going to get everything right. However, if he is / was paid that much? He's certainly not shown he's worth that and the huns will certainly be feeling the better out of the parties. We haven't had the trophy return to justify that sum, despite our hatred of them. Hopefully he rectifies that this season

Was waiting for your final opinion on it, didn't sell it one your last response! Finished reading the tattooist which is about the Auschwitz-Birkenau tattooist. Enjoyable is probably the wrong word to describe it but it was a really good read. Understandably sad.

Haven't watched the last series, but really enjoyed the others. He plays his character exceptionally well. Al / Rico, Informer was brilliant, we ended up watching it all via iplayer although I wish we hadn't. One of the annoyances of being able to binge watch.

Think the critical thing is, we've played all of last seasons top 6 teams and not won one of them. Not exactly a glowing start or great indicator of what is to come.

That third goal was simply fantastic. I'd even say that it will be interesting to see whether Emery will be able to get the best out of Ozil, which Wenger clearly didn't do. I'm sure Ozil also has added impetus this season to give two fingers up to the DFB.

Had none of that happened, I'd have been happy we retained him that previous summer and in all likelihood, he wouldn't have had the complete and utter arse collapse against them before Christmas. Agreed, I wouldn't trust McInnes with a penny. The transfers he's spent money on , have all been by and large, pish. McLean being the odd one but even then he flattered to deceive for the majority of games.

I thought that was all heresay. If we stumped up that amount of cash for a manager that has in fact delivered very little in terms of results, i'd be amazed. It would be sheer lunacy and I can't see Milne paying that sort of money.

Great, had a feeling it wasn't positive when I opted to not look at my phone / computer for results and watch the full re run on both Alba and Red TV. Neither worked. I'm glad now. I notice a lot of folk bemoaning how we set up, what would you have done differently? I thought there were calls for both Cosgrove and Wilson to start? Just curious as I won't be bothering with the game now.
