  1. I see the Georgians have made the tie free entry, given they're miles away from their home. Trying to whip up neutral support. Not bad for those travelling! This team are a complete unknown unity to me. I'd be happy with a hard fought 1-0 victory. Hopefully the defensive lapses have been ironed out.
  2. What a fucking waste of money. Was never the striker I wanted, certainly not that summer, but I really hoped he'd prove me wrong.
  3. That's a pretty horrific list. I'm not even sure Partizan would be a good draw for us. Surely Vitoria would be better?
  4. I thought wizz air flew there from London these days? Or is that to the resort out on the coast only? Time difference was brutal for this one but by the sounds of it, its just as well. We're through, happy enough with that. Although concerns re Cosgrove, that's two games in a row where he's missed clearcut sitters.
  5. Strikers: Cosgrove 2 Midfield: Ferguson 1 Mcginn 1
  6. Excellent
  7. Was talking to a Cork supplier the other day, and he's said that you're going to start seeing a change in the quality of plastic pitches. He said NL have banned the rubber artificial pitches (haven't checked this yet) and moved to Cork which provides better impact resistance for players. I doubt this has it yet, but be interesting to see if uk follows suit.
  8. Just a reminder that this game is at 5PM UK time
  9. I'd probably agree with this, well, probably before the window shuts anyway, so we've got a few more games to assess him. He's certainly impressed, good to see someone with some drive. Just need him to find his shooting boots, but at least he was in the right positions to take shots last week.
  10. Ha, was texting my killie mate around the time and he'd come up in conversation! Proof reading So back to the topic of my original question Has Bryson been confirmed as fit for this one?
  11. Whilst we got the win, conceding an away goal really was amateur. Hopefully the it was just first game cobwebs that needed to be blown away. Still still a fully match fit Dons side wipes the floor with them, but we can't afford to have any concentration lapses. Be interesting to see if Ojo or Brophy are fit / start.
  12. Think this'll be a good signing. Great to see DM actually signing players rather than on loans.
  13. Strikers: Cosgrove 1 Midfield: Mcginn 1
  14. Overall, didn't think it was a bad performance given that it was our first competitive game of the season. A fully match fit team beats them about 5 or 6 nil. I thought Cosgrove had a bit of a shocker in front of goal, despite scoring one. Should have scored a good few more with those free headers. We definitely lack bite in the middle but thought we created a reasonable amount. Can't say I was overly impressed with hedges but maybe I wasn't paying attention. Didn't think he did anything wrong mind. Missed their goal as I was in work. Was a shame as I don't think we deserved to concede. Watching it made me miss Pittodrie a wee bit. Always enjoyed those summer trips up. Also, McGinns goal, very cute finish. That's the McGinn we know and love.
  15. Decent game so far. Hopefully get a goal soon
  16. All OK for me but it's a bit juddery
  17. Send him to a prem club on loan. See if he can get his mojo back. We're not going to get enough of a fee back.
  18. Good perseverance for the second goal, thought theyd messed it up first time round but kept at it. Decent finish too. Some promising signs
  19. Fair play to him if that is true. I hope it's the guy we saw in the last few games rather than for the majority of the season.
  20. Even huns thought we were robbed that night. Drunken blur but what a night to be at Pittodrie. South Stand was absolutely rocking that night.
  21. Probably need to drop further than that TC. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole at the moment, shame it never worked out for him in Portugal. Is he mentally weak?
  22. By that logic, the Germans should always lose. As should the Russians.
  23. Stuff of legend, that signing
  24. Gutted it's likely Lowe will end up at one of the in firm then, but wow, a signing from abroad Welcome aboard Greg, hope it works out for both parties
  25. Weve knocked back a 5m offer for mckenna from the dhimmery.
