  1. Bump If rumours are to be believed and Clarke is announced as Scotland manager next week, this could play into our hands. Regardless, we still need to win. But hopefully pre match pressers etc will be about Scotland and unsettle the club.
  2. Can disagree with any of that tbh. Haven't had much to celebrate this season but they've provided some of the good times.
  3. That maybe so, but it's a discussion point. Personally, I found a lot of it hard to believe. As Ayrshire_don says, a signing like Dom Ball isn't going to help us win a trophy nor entice fans. The whole club needs a freshening up. The fans are bored of the same old signings. The right words, but I doubt they'll be followed up by the right actions.
  4. Agree with that. Mental amount of consistency from both teams this season, but the drama and their first title surely must be hard to beat.
  5. Why hasn't someone posted this? https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/05/15/afc-the-journey-accomplishments-aspirations-and-way-ahead/?fbclid=IwAR02Xu2ba_mwBGBoZ0Y4nFOVd_0vYKiIdQ6KXSqkzkSxdhNqWyOQLCg_hCc
  6. How are you getting on MBT?
  7. https://www.aberdeenperformingarts.com/whats-on/all-shows/in-conversation-with-willie-miller/2153 You'll have to put up with Graham Spiers, but a night with Willie Miller. A few tickets left apparently.
  8. Stripes on the side is different. Don't think i mind it, but I do like chevron pattern on the shirt itself. Sharp. I always regretted not buying the one from a couple of seasons back. One of my favourite kits of recent time was a similar one with the original badge on it. Possibly the first Saltire one?
  9. So it all goes down to the wire. Don't like to have to rely on another team, let alone the huns to see us guaranteed european qualifiers. Killie are more than able to give them a game, and us? Well, despite our decent form down there, we're threadbare. Fortunately even if super joe is injured, we've got a more than able replacement. They've nothing really to play for, so hopefully that works in our favour, but we need to go all out for the win. Anything less will see us fail. If Stewart does one thing in his time with us, I hope it's to push us for another season of european qualifier football. Pittodrie deserves it. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1 Dons, Cosgrove and Wilson
  10. Whilst the dhims had nothing to play for (apart form pride), their fans must be concerned how little they offered. Pathetic really, but I guess this is what they always wanted. A resurgent hunnery whilst still winning the league Guess Liverpool fans will have to wait another year to see if indeed, it will be their year.
  11. Not ideal having to rely on someone else for us to get the desired result. But we've only ourselves to blame courtesy of that horrific home form.
  12. Sorry, I meant to add from what I saw in the second half. Hearts were horrific, but we weren't doing much. Can't comment on the first half.
  13. Good goal to win it. A draw would probably have been fair but I'll take the 3 points! Nice for shinnie to end his Pittodrie career with a win
  14. Haha yasssssss. Great goal
  15. Well I'm glad I bothered to wake up for this one! Missed both goals, game seems incredibly stop start. Referee and hearts being their standard dirty selves. Some nice play up front
  16. I'd presume we're shifting Cosgrove or may to even think about making this pathetic signing.
  17. Haha! I'm getting too old for this stuff. Even resorted to watching the A-league regularly.
  18. Bloody hope not. Committed to watching it with a Liverpool supporting mate. Bloody early wake up for a poor game.
  19. If the last point is true, I'd be really disappointed that celtic didn't look after him.
  20. Also touched on the atmosphere and shite home form since Jan I believe. Didn't really have an answer for it though. Be amazed to see if we get that number signed up in the next fortnight. WE'll see I guess!
  21. Final home game of the season, and club are offering folk an extra 10 loyalty points for attending. Really need a result here if we are to maintain any chance of finishing third. Personally, I can't really see where it is going to come from, but you never know as Hearts are horrible side. Still got injuries, although Logan being back last week was a bonus, especially since he got minutes under his belt. Shinnie being out (is it confirmed as the rest of the season?) will be a big miss, particularly re: drive through the middle. We may be lucky in that Celtic should win the cup so hopefully the potential for Europe is still there. Out Bed Hopefully watching at home Rat hunting 1-1, Consi
  22. FFS Ajax. Should have had that nailed.
  23. Was a sublime strike. Bin dippers doing a decent job in the second leg of the champs league semi though. Saved by a cloggy
  24. As the season has gone on, I've fallen more and more out of love with the Scottish game. Its absolutely farcical. And our chairman voted for it to be like this There is no way McGregor should be allowed to walk the streets, let alone grace a football stadium.
  25. Not surprising although doesn't make it any easier to read. We'll miss his passion and drive, but I really hope dm breaks from form and actually signs a midfielder that is an actual midfielder. Providing we get the signing right, we won't miss him. If it's like previous years, he'll join the long list of players that were never replaced properly.
