  1. Fuck kicking his granny, I heard Rumplestiltskin stole Maddie McCann in an attempt to win a contract at Pittodrie. Unfortunately McGhee decided that he was too small and he's now on Celtic's books.
  2. Certainly not fair on Duff. The way he is being treated will surely be noticed by other players those actually in the squad and also prospective signings. Whether or not it bothers Duff himself is irrelevant it's hardly projecting a professional image for the club. In a day and age where lack of commitment to a club is bemoaned by the supporters it is somewhat disheartening to see a player showing commitment being dealt with in this way. It surely can only serve to further damage an obviously fragile dressing room. However the really depressing thing, for me personally, is the absolute lack of signings or even hint of. At Cheltenham we've gone from having one player signed on for next season to fifteen since the end of last season, with potentially two more before the end of this week. Now I'm not saying any of these players could or should have been interesting us (Aberdeen) but it does show that there are players about looking to get signed up and are not holding out for massive wages.
  3. My comment was more to do with the Kassam having three sides.
  4. Seeing your thread made me think, what century are we in?
  5. Does this mean that Nelson won't be coming back now? Would seem pretty pointless and a bit of a waste of money if he does.
  6. Ogbonna is an interesting one, wonder where this interest has come from. It's a level higher than the league that Charlie Austin came from (he's done well at Swindon last season) but he is no where near as prolific as Austin was.
  7. Why not plenty of other cunts seem to tweet their whole day away and a load of other cunts seem to have all day to lap it up. We could have @Dorris the tea lady, @Clive the greenkeeper, @Sally the seagull, @Stewart the grippy cunt, @Angela the door knocker, @Willie the failed chipper owner and @Mark the shit manager.
  8. I'm assuming you don't work in the UK.
  9. Aren't Man U players banned from facebook et al?
  10. I would have hoped it would be the board that foot the bill for this out of their own pockets given it is their dilly dallying over the last 15 years that means we are, at a minimum, another 3 years away from a new stadium.
  11. Someone called Sean McDonald has hacked Darren Bailey's Facebook It appears that, when you click on the link, that someone has shrunk Sone which may account for his shite performances. Then again it also appears that he may actually be floating in mid air so...
  12. Ahh, good, a thread with pun jokes in it.
  13. If we did sign him there's always the possibility he might eat Mark McGhee, which could save us some money.
  14. Yes, I'd rather have shitey players in place from when the squad gets back than get even shitey'er players a couple of days before the start of the season. Are you suggesting the quality of players available will improve as the transfer window progresses towards its conclusion? A Striker to get excited about now would surely boost season ticket sales which in turn can only have a positive effect on the player budget.
  15. That's all very well but the better players will be offered better contracts by clubs in a better financial and footballing position than us. Clubs like ours will be left with what no-one else wants, which is OK as long as we can get them signed up and working with the rest of the squad earlier in the pre-season in order for the team to gel and get to know one another. If not we will have our usual slow start and heads will drop immediately due to last seasons abysmal form.
  16. Right lads the fat orange buffoon has gone, we're going to play fast, slick, passing, football which will win us the Scottish cup and finish third in the league. IT'S GONNA BE THAT EASY!!
  17. What's the checklist on this: Financial Information Wants paying a wage Products Mediocre footballing skills Competition Plenty of alternatives, none as cheap or as stupid Marketing None of our customers will have experience of, so can be talked up before reaching the inevitable un-marketability. Development Possibly might develop, but that will have no impact on AFC as will be let go for free or nominal amount after two years. Assets Own football boots Blonde Bird BMW X5
  18. Here's hoping Milne doesn't get any ideas from Poxford about cost savings for the new stadium.
  19. Could these not all have been a week earlier? I leave for Cyprus on Friday 30th. I'll probably head up to the black country for Tamworth, I would have liked to go to Brighton for a rendition of "We can see you holding hands". Fuck going to Vale but Poxford is only an hour and a bit along the road so, if true, it would be very tempting to go despite having to get up at 5 the next morning to get to Heathrow. It's all very inconvenient.
  20. I'd be fairly pleased with Akinfenwa as he's scored goals wherever he's gone. However, on the negative side his legs are made of lego and he can be a bit of a stroppy cunt, allegedly.
  21. Haven't the Tories announced this week that plans to build extra runways at Heathrow and Gatwick have been dropped?
  22. Surely those are mutually exclusive?
  23. I've heard Nelson is trying to get himself a deal at Cheltenham. He's from Stroud and is looking to settle near home.
  24. McGhee can only dream of being as successful as Alex Miller.
  25. Given we are lacking any sort of central midfield and despite having 4 or 5 "strikers", I really can't see McGhee spending and of his remaining £2.46 and years supply of flaming hot monster munch on any more defenders.
