  1. I'm not going to argue with your post, you're absolutely right. But why are we not allowed to mention the previous management team? They were removed because the product on the pitch was poor, and attendances were suffering as a result. Well the product on the pitch is still poor, same tactics, largely the same players, same 'favourites', same unrest amongst some of the support. Only change so far is we cant seem to win any games. A gutless 2-0 defeat at home to one of our fiercest rivals might be something some fans can take in their stride, but right now I'm pissed off. Is that ok? And minijc, the knives are certainly not out for McGhee (nor are the post-it-note protest 'banners') As I've said before my gripe is not with MM, I hope he gets things right for us. However, I'm still struggling with the decision to spunk away however many hundreds of thousands of pounds it was to replace one flawed manager with another. Because if that money had been invested properly, on playing staff, we would have almost certainly been at least 2nd in the league tonight.
  2. It will be a victory for football if we finish bottom six, that twat Jimmy was more interested in playing shite and getting into Europe than he was about entertaining the fans.
  3. What's the facination with Europe? Didn't think it was important...
  4. You're missing the point chaps, at least it's good entertaining football - the crowds will be returning in their thousands...
  5. I'd agree that the team is improving under McGhee, and when I say that I mean from the first couple of matches. We're obviously drawing too many games and failing to kill teams off, but we seem to be playing with more confidence as the youngsters settle in. In my opinion Jimmy's team of last season would have beaten MM's team of late, but that's really not a fair comparison to make. Mark McGhee has been given some terrible tools (scuse the pun) to work with. My problem was never with McGhee, just the decision to replace Calderwood with him.
  6. Hopefully a 'dream team' of McCoist and Durrant at the helm, and I didn't think it was possible to hate the feckers any more than I do already.
  7. I'm guessing the mask wont hide the fact that he's shite?
  8. This could be one of my favourite sentences of all time...
  9. Dons in drawn out transfer shambles shocker... Deal is imminent though apparently.
  10. At least right back is his natural position, and that has been a problem position in our team for some time, but on the grand scale of things it's just another ordinary player to fluff up a very thin squad. Who knows, maybe Ross will be super-keen to win a permanent contract, maybe he'll see this as a last chance to make it at the top level in Scotland and turn in some good performances. Fingers crossed. Despite your dubious past, welcome on board loon.
  11. @paulinho - No.
  12. @paulinho -
  13. He probably injured it fucking about on that raft thing in Austria.
  14. ST, did you splash out on a packet of sweets?

True story - I used to go out with a Slovakian Au-pair in Aberdeen, she was from Bratislava. Very easy on the eye, but in the end the language barrier started to piss me off. So she got binned for a fat, teuchter minger. :(
  16. You speak some ammount of carp.
  17. She is bootiful. Really bootiful. See the bloke with the beard, that's how I imagine Superstar Tradesman would look in real life.
  18. I love you.
  19. He's absolutely right. Milne should have thrown cash at the manager when he arrived, a fresh start for the club, new management, new players, rejuvinated support, a nice set of fixtures for the first month or so, we could have been flying. But instead it's typical Aberdeen, same old same old, doing everything arseways. Milne could be a fucking legend - like Thompson was at Utd, but can any dons fan imagine holding their chairman in such high regard? I know I cant.
  20. I think it's a bit harsh to criticise McGhee for his choice of captain. Mark Kerr's poor form is down to the man himself and nobody else, none of us could have guessed he would play so badly this season. He would have been my choice too and I'm still hoping he'll come good in the coming weeks. However, I get the feeling our management change was not a popular decision with the majority of the playing staff - the lack of motivation is obvious.
  21. Match ended at about 10pm last night? About 5 am my time. I checked for the score on my ridiculously expensive mobile internet the moment my alarm went off at 6am. Only plus point I can see from this result is it will be all the sweeter when Dundee go bust again. But just because they're investing way beyond their level doesn't mean we shouldn't be puting teams like that away. And I'm not just blaming MM for this, as usual the people above him have let the club down badly.
  22. But getting knocked out by premier league Dundee United 2 seasons ago was not acceptable? This is yet another fucking disaster for the club. And I don't give a fuck who the manager is/was. Really pissed off when I found out the score this morning.
  23. Absolutely. Hey mizer, if you read the first letter in each of those words it actually spells Lee Miller. Now that is spooky.
  24. The car crash in Egypt is undeniably Jimmy Calderwood's fault. He picked Egypt, the clueless, fat, orange buffoon, with his pre-season trip tombola. More interested in topping up his tan than he was in advanced driving courses for his players. JMG.
  25. Because Welsh people are cunts?
