I'm going to fucking Murrayfield that day. But I suppose a boozy afternoon in an Edinburgh bar waiting for news of a dons victory, prior to watching Scotland win the Calcutta cup, isn't a bad way to spend a Saturday.

The draw looks good for them yet again, however they're bound to have at least one big fuck up this season. I don't expect that to be tonight, so maybe Ross County could cause a wee upset? We have to be happy with our draw.

Got to say I agree with Slim, the comments have done nothing but show the club in a bad light. I can't see what he was trying to achieve by this, maybe he had a plan, but the way the words came out could have very negative repercussions. Reporting Scotland were able to do a 'Dons fans are scum / morons' feature, with direct quotes to that effect from our own manager. 1 out of 10 for that performance Mark, must try harder.

Still, the Cherry bakewell probably took the sting out of it. If we split the Old firm next season, and/or win the Scottish cup whilst finishing in the top 4 (at least), I'll consider the management change to have been a success. Meanwhile, I'll look nervously at the league table and the forthcoming fixtures and hope we'll be able to hang onto our spl status this season, and pray for a victory at Starks Park on Saturday. Despite my feelings about Jimmy's departure I still want the team/manager/club to go from strength to strength. However, I reserve the right to change my opinion when LondonScottish tells me it's wrong.

The thought of a trip to Hampden makes me sexually arroused. The thought of getting pumped out by a first division team again makes me want to cry like a wee girl. But even with the bonus of a cup win, anything from 5th down in the league must be seen as failure. We should be above Utd and a very poor Hearts. Given the investment Hibs made this season there is no shame in finishing behind them. Scottish cup winners and 4th in the spl would be an excellent (and very unlikely) return.

Just looking at the table and the fixtures there, and it really is possible that by the end of this month we could be in deep, deep shit. Have we got the players to keep us out of trouble? Worrying thing for me is that we've been relying so much on the teenagers, if they lose form at this vital time in the season where will we be? No goal threat at the moment, hardly anything you could call a 'Plan B', experienced players going missing against mediocre opposition, no depth in the squad, dwindling support, and still all quiet on the pie-in-the-sky stadium plans. Best news and biggest cause for celebration we've had so far this year was selling our top scorer. Happy days?

I'm not sure what to make of Sky's latest news, they did a huge bit on 'Boro but no mention of Miller. They spoke about WGS being interested in Macdonald, Charlie Adam and Hoolahan, but no mention of Miller? Maybe it's a relatively insignificant signing for them and hardly news-worthy, or (more likely) it's not happening at all.
