I really hope you're right, but... 1: He's lost twice to Federer when it really mattered, Grand Slam finals. 2: He failed to take his chances yesterday, don't think luck was really an issue. 3: Federer looked like the younger man yesterday, never showing any signs of fatigue or emotion. Murray looked tired, distressed and very sore at the end. There is a lot still to come from Federer. I'm a patriotic Scot and I want him to do well, but there are lots of good players in his way - and it will take an exceptional effort to overcome the psychological battle next time he finds himself on court with Federer.

And not in a revolutionary way. They really are revolting!!! I crack myself up.

You get what you pay for. On his day he's as good as any other keeper in the SPL, but if he could play like that every week he wouldn't be in goals for Aberdeen. I can recall leaving Pittodrie on several occasions and thinking he'd made a massive contribution to the result. Sadly the result has not always been favourable.

He'll be a British sporting legend now because he cried live on telly. All the best to him for the future, but he needs Federer to have a few bad days at the office if he's ever going to win a Grand Slam.

That's true, but (at the risk of sounding like fatjim) this season has been kind of written off as transitional, and the 500 thousand would help MM shape a squad for next season. I'm certain we can continue to be hopelessly inconsistent for the remainder of the season without the services of Lee Miller.

I think he would be a big loss, but if the 500k figure quoted is true (and it does seem a very generous offer) we could surely find an adequate replacement.

It's hard to be critical after Mark McGhee had them produce such a good result on Wednesday. But Jimmy's dross really let us down today.

North Tonight just reported Hearts are close to signing Dons target JO'B from Motherwell, and it looks 'unlikely' anybody will be heading North this transfer window. Maybe we're signing someone from ICT or Ross County.

I'm with the rocket. Mostly recycled footage and interview content but surely no dons fan can ever get enough of this kind of thing? I also thoroughly enjoyed Cosgrove's input.

On the field I think McGhee is doing ok with the players he has, let's face it some of them are shit. On the other hand, it was McGhee who made a bit of an arse of the last transfer window (and is possibly heading the same way in this one) by making public all our transfer targets and then leaving himself open to criticism when they all sign for other clubs. I want him to succeed. I want us to win the Scottish cup. I want my kids to feel that feeling. The myth about 'JIGgers' wanting MM to fail is absolute nonsense.
