  1. Seems a pity he'd sully his reputation with dons fans by signing for them, I'm sure a man of his calibre could have found a similar payday elsewhere. Talented boy, composed, plays with his head up and does the simple stuff well. However I wouldn't fear playing against a Rangers team with Jack at the heart of it, and if that's the level of their ambition we've nothing to worry about for the foreseeable future.
  2. I'd take Scott Severin (at his peak) over McLean any day. Seve could dominate a midfield, was composed, and in my opinion he was one of the most complete players we've had for many a year. Proper footballer.
  3. I look forward to renting a space in your drive once the new stadium in Westhill is built
  4. I parked right next to the ground last time, choosing to ignore the 'no parking during hampden events' signs. £30 quid fine split 4 ways, bargain.
  5. The main tourist attractions up there are worth doing, Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, and Bushmills. And there's a couple of good golf courses if that's your thing. Can't be arsed scrolling back through the pages, but any recommendations for good food and bars in the Palma / Palma Nova / Shagaluff area of Majorca? Looking to avoid the neon hell holes if possible. Thanks in advance.
  6. We've got a team full of heart, effort, invention, pace, aggression, determination, togetherness...... I love it. Loved seeing us dominate and out-fight a hearts team that want to be where we are so much. Should have been a 5-0 game, but we've seen it so many times recently, teams want to sit in and/or get physical against us - we can handle it and still get the result. Pass marks for everyone, McLean was the star pupil yet again.
  7. I need to see another replay or two, but penalty decision looked absolutely ridiculous to me...?? And then the keeper blatantly handling outside the box, predictably going unpunished, confirms what we all already knew. New Rangers, same old refereeing bias unfortunately.
  8. Even last Saturday, the queue outside the ticket office at 1455 surely justifies a cash turnstyle?
  9. Gutted for him. Lying cunt that he is.
  10. I think you're right about the award. Only complaint would have been that the front door of the restaurant was open continually due to the volume of customers picking up takeaway, so when booking a table maybe request one through the back of the restaurant - especially if it's a Friday or Saturday evening.
  11. Rajpoot Indian in Inverurie, absolutely top notch food. Service wasn't the quickest but we were in no rush, drinks on the house after our meal - well worth a visit.
  12. I expect a similar challenge to last week, facing a well organised, dangerous opposition, more than capable of beating us on their day if they all play well. But I hope and expect us to be our usual professional selves and get the result we all want and need. No doubt about it though, it's going to be a nervy occasion. Same team from the start please, the impact the subs made last week can only have a positive effect on the original starting 11 I think.
  13. This is all pillow talk, but.... When McGinn went to San Francisco a few weeks ago, he and the people around him expected a move to Hearts to become reality. I don't know why it didn't happen, maybe he had second thoughts about moving to another SPL club, or maybe he was tipped off about interest from England? But I think we probably have to accept this is his final season here. Best outcome would be we keep him until May, and that ultimately he doesn't move to one of our rivals.
  14. Swiped her right on tinder once. No match. True story.
  15. Apart from a decent strike against us in a game I'd far sooner forget, I've always thought of Easton as a bit of a cart horse. However I trust the manager 100%, and if he sees something in the boy then I'd be happy to see him on board. Same with Ryan Christie - you never know, there's maybe potential for this loan deal to become more permanent, it's happened before. Let the manager do his bit and let's get behind him and the players he signs.
  16. Cheers, I knew about the San Francisco thing, just wasn't sure if he was joining up with them or not.
  17. Anyone know if Niall McGinn is in Dubai with the rest of the team?
  18. Apart from the McGinn to hearts one, which is in fact, fact.
