  1. "Position - Forward. Career stats - Games 43/Goals 1" Is that the right bloke?
  2. I can't argue with that dude - my attack on you isn't personal, and you don't need to explain that this is a football forum or how it works.....most of us have been posting on donstalk for 10 years.
  3. From memory, I thought he said 42k. 'Mate'. I might get a warning for this but you come across as such a bellend.
  4. I also renewed and added 2 new ones - long before last nights events. But I agree there will be surge of enthusiasm now and I don't see why ST numbers should be down. If we're serious about prolonging the Rangers suffering we need the fans to up their game too.
  5. Nope, getting a bit worried about the big fella.
  6. Great quotes from him on SSN, about his ambition to get Aberdeen to the group stages of the europa league, and to finish the job he started and finally deliver the required facilities for the club. Top man.
  7. Absolutely gobsmacked. Amazing news. Now, this is the kind of thing that makes you a legend at a football club......Wankers like Jack and Foster could learn a lot from Derek. He must have been promised the Hayes money to strengthen the squad, and he must believe he can reach at least the same heights again next season. I'm so hoping there's nothing but feel-good factor at the club for the rest of the summer. DMCIG
  8. I'm surprised I'm in the minority thinking he'd jump at the chance to manage Sunderland, I'd be very happy to be wrong on this occasion! But, with the Hayes deal all but done, I'm recalling an interview he gave last season saying he was happy to stay with Aberdeen as long as the manager was here. I remember being disappointed with that comment at the time, and I'm thinking Jonny maybe knows how this ones going to end.
  9. Adams and Brewster have done pretty well down south, but I'm not sure they'd be my first choice. Would rather take a punt on Neil or Wright I think. Still hoping for an unlikely miracle with McInnes.
  10. Absolutely gutted (but not surprised) by Hayes departure. He's the reason I haven't had a sore arse at pittodrie for the last 5 years - consistently getting the fans out of their seats with a goal, assist, or jinking run down the wing. Good luck to the boy - he never let us down.
  11. I would read it as - no permission has been granted because Sunderland still haven't met the compensation figure we want. As soon as they do that, he'll be gone I'm sure. Huge salary, amazing facilities, big support, higher profile league, potential stepping stone to the premier league....DMc would be crazy to pass up an opportunity like that. And he won't.
  12. Don't think we should even entertain the idea of a Christie loan being part of a Hayes deal. I'd rather take a straight 1.2 million and find someone else. Nothing against Ryan, I want him back, just not under those circumstances.
  13. I've got an issue with a season ticket renewal, complicated by the fact I'm trying to purchase two extra ones for next season. General sales begin on Monday, but the deadline for the 4 month interest free deal ends today - is that right? So only current ST holders can use the interest free option? Also, do we think season ticket numbers will be down because of the player (and possibly management) exodus? From what I could see on the screen in the ticket office there were an awful lot of blank seats waiting to be renewed...
  14. Advice for anyone in the Aberdeen area looking for a game of golf on a budget, you won't get better value than Hazelhead Pines (#2 course) at 15 quid. I forgot how lovely some of the holes there are, and it's in great condition just now. Just saying.
  15. I'm certain Jack could have got a salary like that elsewhere, either overseas or south of the border. Signing for those cunts was the easy option for both player and agent - very lazy, unambitious, and short sighted. The guy's going to think he's Billy big balls now, and it'll be interesting to see how he copes with it all. Personally I think we'll see him warming their bench every week like so many other good young players who get tempted to the old firm. Whatever happens, he can fuck off. No excuse for going there.
  16. Rodgers is clearly a fan so we should definitely play hard ball, and any sell on clauses etc they want written in to the Christie deal should be duplicated for us as part of the Hayes deal. I'll be gutted if he goes
  17. You've got to worry about his state of mind too, and as Hebrew said earlier hampden is not the place for a divided support - booing one of our own players. His inclusion will create negativity on a day when everyone (including the support) needs to be on top of their game.
  18. The manager has put a lot of faith in Jack, persuaded him to stay when we could have made a healthy profit from him leaving, made him captain despite the concerns of the fans, and even now he's speaking up about concentrating on (and enjoying the build up to) a huge game next weekend, rather than thinking about individual players. He's still protecting Jack and the best interests of AFC, saying the right things and oozing class as always. Now it seems Ryan Jack will repay that loyalty and faith by signing for our bitterest rivals, and giving Mcinnes a horrible situation to deal with prior to our biggest game in years. Jack can go to the Huns, that's his choice, but there should have been no discussions with them and no rumours about it coming out until AFTER the cup final. He's let Aberdeen fc, McInnes, and the fans down really badly.
  19. MBT I'm taking offence at that, sometimes he pinches my posts! Hope you're good fella.....
  20. I would never wish injury on him or anything like that, he probably feels a move to them will get him a Scotland cap - and you know what, he's probably right. It's pathetic. I don't think our chances of winning next Saturday are particularly enhanced by his presence, so if I was DM I'd be tempted to leave him out, or leave him on the bench. If we do win, I don't want to see him lifting the cup. Can anyone refresh my memory.....Last time we won the Scottish cup, was that not Charlie Nicholas's last game for us? And was his return to Celtic not common knowledge before that game?
  21. plagiarism noun the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas (in this case, posts and opinions) and passing them off as one's own. Does donstalk still have an 'ignore' feature? The last two pages of this thread are fucking horrific.....
  22. They haven't won against us at Ibrox since the 3rd of December 2016
