I believe they were "digitally remastered" so I guess it was the latter?
-
I think their pitch is a huge advantage for them. They are able to train on it and get to know it very well. I don't think it's a coincidence that their first and reserve teams are doing so well in their respective leagues.

Watched Star Wars Episode 4, 5, 2, 3 and 6 yesterday in that order. Never seen them before. I saw Episode 1 back when it came out. Didn't think I'd like them at all because that sort of stuff isn't normally my cup of tea but I have to admit I quite enjoyed them.

One of the boys that got binned (McHattie I think?) out for 6 weeks as result. I think it was Kenny Miller's tackle assault. Really pleased to see Hearts get a deserved victory Sevco get a deserved loss. -
How much do we reckon Pittodrie is worth again? £10m - £15m? If that's true why is it still ours to sell? Why did Lloyds write off their debt to us? Couldn't they have forced us to sell to pay back our debt (that they'd apparently written off in 2009)?

Fucking 3-0 YAS min. Sma bounce.
-
Players that I've seen (maybe showing my age a bit!): Eoin Jess Willie Miller Alex McLeish Russell Anderson Markus Heikkinen Jim Leighton Theo Snelders Duncan Shearer Jim Bet Brian Irvine
-
So is Lotiston completely out of the running? Do we really need a new stadium? If the land that Pittodrie is on wasn't worth an absolute fortune to hoose builders would we even move? Not sure that I buy the "Pittodrie costs x amount of millions to stop it disappearing into the dunes" argument. Sure it costs money to run but so much that it's genuinely cheaper to build a new stadium? If it was up to me I'd put 50% focus on a left back (and, fuck it, a centre back to replace Taylor/Anderson. We're debt-free. Let's go mental) and 50% focus on training facilities that will allow our players to avoid dog shite in the parks they use presently.
-
This doesn't surprise me actually. The debt getting cleared has looked increasingly more likely than getting in a semi competent left-back for ages now.
-
Whilst, obviously, I hope to fuck that this is the case I'm skeptical about it too. Rich people aren't rich because they like handing money here, there and everywhere.
-
Can't see it. They specifically state that the intention is to continue to live within our means and although we'll have greater means to live within we also have other things that require funding such as training facilities (I hope). It's great that in theory we'll be able put money towards training facilities instead of servicing debts but I don't think the playing budget will increase. Even just a little to allow for a left back and a proper goalkeeper.
-
So who's taken on our debt? Or has this Willie Donald guy paid it off all in exchange for part ownership of the club? Forgive me for being skeptical but when something seems too good to be true it usually is!

The closest to these guys there are left:

Really gutted about how it panned out like everyone else. Going into the final 20 minutes I did say there'd be another goal. I didn't think it'd stay 1-1. When Brown finally got his jotters I dared to hope that it'd be us but us managing to lose the game was reminiscent of the Aberdeen that I was finally hoping we'd seen the back of since Deek came in. Should we not have had a penalty in the first few minutes as well? Haven't managed to put myself through the highlights yet. Not that I think it'll be shown in the highlights.
-
You're not quite right there, Tom. Although not a million miles away. That is Stardust. Brother and tag team partner of the aforementioned Goldust.
-
Brown must start the next game. He did well and it was a luxury to see such half decent kicking.
-
Not working out for Mario. I think he'll be a different player when he's paired with Sturridge. Just how often that'll happen only Rodgers knows. Liverpool still utterly hopeless defensively. The 1st goal was class but I saw it coming so why couldn't the LFC defence? The other 2 goals were a shambles. It's a pity because Liverpool started fairly brightly. Coutinho was so unlucky with his strike just before half time. Rodgers' signings need to start producing the goods. I like Rodgers and he's lost Suarez and Sturridge but their current form is not good enough.

In Work then possibly BK South Stand Home 2-0 Goodwillie

I don't think it's fair to blame over-zealous moderation or administration for DT being quiet. The thing that I like about DT Talk is that you can more or less say anything. Ok, some folk may disagree with you and call you a name but you won't get banned for it. I know you've been banned a couple of times before and in all honesty I can't remember the particular reasons. It used to be the case that if someone got banned it was discussed by admins/mods first before anything was done. And the majority had to be in agreement before someone was punted. The only folk I can remember getting bans were Stoney, Minijc and of course Rocket. All 3 are now welcome to post here again. The reason it's quiet? I'd say the reason that it's quiet is because it's too quiet. Sounds odd, doesn't it. But The likes of FJ and Dave_Min post more on AFC Chat (I guess) because there's a lot more going on. the more regular members that we can retain the more likely we are to get new regulars. Then again if you believe what's posted on the Hat the main reason for this place being quiet is because on two occasions the forum crashed and a lot of posts and members were lost each time. If folk weren't put off after the 1st crash they definitely were by the 2nd one. It's a shame but it may take Hat doing the same thing for us to poach back some regular posters. No one said you can't criticize Calderwood? Or Langfield? You can say what you like (within reason). As long as you're prepared for folk to disagree (as is their right) although you'll get nothing but agreement from me regarding Calderwood and Clangers. Fucking hopeless. Your debate with Dandy_Don has nothing to do with the fact that he's an admin (founded the forum in fact) but merely down to your differing viewpoints on the Yes/No campaigns. It's strange because essentially you both agree. Didn't D_D say he'd have votes yes if he'd been here?
-
I can only assume that he was referring to the corruption that you were speaking about. Although I don't think you can call it a conspiracy theory when we've seen evidence time and time again that these elitist leaders are in it for themselves, for their pockets and for their rich friends' pockets.

Anyone know why AFC have done this brilliant, brilliant thing?

Bit early to be on the spirits Andrew, surely?

This. Reynolds should be in the team ahead of fucking Hanley anyway.
