  1. Hibs fan on my Facebook said it was a deserved red card...
  2. Too wee. Those types of pricks are wasting oxygen as well as a vote. And as for the currency (non)issue... what's the problem? In the event of a yes vote we'll use the pound. Most likely within a currency union. And if there's not one then that's fine by me. Plan A: £ with currency union. Plan B: £ without formal agreement. Both fine by me. A currency union benefits the rest of the UK surely. So Westminster are going to be keen to negotiate something I would've thought? Although they're not going to come out and say that as it would damage their own campaign.
  3. I thought Salmond did clearly better than Darling. Having said that I missed the first hour so that fits in with what DD Don said about how he started poorly. I too am getting sick of every cunt thinking they're an expert but I still can't help but feel pissed off at the spastic reasons that some spastics are voting no for. I'm sure there are spastics who are voting yes for the wrong reasons too but at least they're guessing right. Did Salmond clarify whether he plans to step down from politics if there's a yes vote? I can't help but feel that would net a few undecideds.
  4. Agreed. If Vue did a loyalty card and had free parking I'd never go to Cineworld.
  5. Barbecue in a remote Catalan location?
  6. Rules: 1. One name per points tally for the season, first come first served! 2. 7. I assumed he was at a barbecue.
  8. And when you factor in that Spain is generally shite it's bad news all round really.
  9. You implied it then. At least we've managed to argue despite the fact that it looks like we essentially agree. Cheers. D_D.
  10. Pretty sure I didn't say Gerrard was better.
  11. He's shite. Obviously Kris meant this Brown:
  12. How could I forget Dave min? Dave min is referring to the meeting of two internet legends. One of them is obviously me and the other is of course Minijc. And then after the game I bumped into Dave min. Not literally, like. I tend to watch where I'm walking.
  13. That disappeared before the Groningen away game which was on that channel.
  14. It'll be on Premier Sport again. Anyone know if it's on anywhere in Inverness? Long shot but I'll be up there on Thursday night.
  15. I don't agree that he is "the most complete" midfielder. Although there is no question that he's one of the very best that England has ever produced. I went for brown.
  16. How? We're both agreed that both Gerrard and Scholes are top class players. You're just trying to stir up a bit of a rubble!!
  17. Salmond should get on that. It'll convince billions to vote yes.
  18. Tony Watt to Standard Lierse for £1.2m. So on the Tony Watt scale what do we reckon Pawlett is worth? I'm going for £3.6m.
  19. As good as Scholes was I think Gerrard was every bit as good. He could score from anywhere in the final third, he'd get assists and he was probably more of an athlete than Scholes and definitely better then him defensively when required. Having said that I would have dropped Lampard and kept Gerrard and Scholes in the middle. Obviously Stevie's game has changed in the last couple of years due to him slowing down a little and it's fair to say he's adapted really well. But I still have reservations about this new contract extension that he's been offered. I'd have waited until towards the end of the new season before offering an extension. Having said that he should benefit from the rest during international breaks.
  20. Spain is shite.
  21. Agreed on pretty much both points. I think it was more the Groningen fans that felt they were so much better (A lot of them did anyway). I myself saw it as very much 50/50 as to who would win the tie over the two legs. I was hearing that we were as much as 9/2 to win the game at times on Thursday? Couldn't believe that. As for Langfield.... When that header went in I could have fucking throttled him. And after seeing it again I could have throttled him again. A professional goalkeeper should keep that out all day long. But the save he made in the second half (which was looking like a certain goal) definitely took the heat off of him. Although I'd also say that Logan should have done much better in making a nuisance of himself in the air when challenging for the cross. As for the trip itself.. I had a great time. Spent 2 nights in Groningen and Friday night in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is superb. Both places were to be fair. Both places were beautiful. Weather really warm (if a little damp in Amsterdam at times). Truth be told when I heard there was a minute's silence I was a little worried given the large number of mongs that often makes up our support coupled with the copious amounts of alcohol being consumed but I have to say the behaviour of Aberdeen fans for the whole trip (as far as I saw) was impeccable and the silence was perfectly observed to my relief. Although away from the game it did threaten to kick off a few times. Once in the fan park on Wednesday night which I witnessed myself. Groningen and Aberdeen fans engaged in a sing off had to be separated after the Groningen fans tried to incite a rammy by surging towards the Aberdeen fans. A few bottles went flying. And there was the whole launching a fucking bike at the pipe band thing. Fucking embarrassing behaviour. There were many Groningen fans that we chatted to were sound but there was some utter knobs. Every time we sang the Jonny Hayes song they'd changes the words to "fuck you, Aberdeen" which I could handle but their arrogance (which was unwarranted all along) made it all the sweeter that we won. And belting out "Fuck you Groningen" in the stadium was ace. Now. What pubs in Inverness will be showing the away leg on Thursday? Probably a long shot.
  22. Indeed but we definitely are as well.
  23. In/oot: In. #realfan Pre Match: Work Match: Sooth Post Match: Bed Result: 1-0 Goodwillie
  24. You'd have to exhume them first but fire in.
