I'm with you on this one, Manc. Every human being deserves to be and feel safe. And thanks to us they're not safe. I know it's not as simple an issues as that. I do think ISIS pose a threat that probably needs to be fought. But whatever the reason they need shelter and they should get it. It's that simple.

Agreed. My only gripe with McGinn against Celtic is that when he does score he apologises. I know it's trivial but it winds me up a little. No one's asking him to celebrate like we've won the champions league or anything. Just don't apologise to the pricks.

Iceland are looking really good. The improvements they've made on and off the park are clearly paying dividends. But I'm sorry; the ref ruined that game last night (from a Dutch point of view). De Vrij clearly got a toe on the ball in that last ditch tackle. And I think the boy's reaction to getting a tap in the neck from Martins-Indi got the player sent off. Although as soon as you raise your hand you're giving the ref a decision to make right enough. Had Robben not gotten injured and Martins-Indi stayed on the park it would have been a very different game I think. But they didn't and now Holland have to win their last 2 games. On current form I don't fancy them to do it. The commentary was absolutely woeful again. Just like it was in the 1st game in Reykjavik. They were absolutely desperate for Iceland to win. Strange given that the results don't affect Engerlund. Not a good time for the Dutch national team. Got to wonder why RVP didn't get the chance to try and salvage something. Holland were pressing a lot towards the end of the game and a better finisher might have got the reward that they deserved (a point at home to Iceland )

If there's one thing America does right it's sporting events. Even if you don't like the sport you can go along and have a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed all the hockey and basketball games I've been to. Having said that I wouldn't like Football in this country to go down the same route. I'd miss sitting amongst dour faced faced cunts in shite stadia with borderline 3rd world facilities

Chris Sutton is without a doubt the worst commentator I've ever had the misfortune of hearing/seeing but hearing him fighting back the tears was music to my ears. He was hurting so much it was funny. ;D Allow me to summarise the reasons why Sutton should never work on TV ever again: Called the Malmo player "pathetic" for going to ground after he was kneed in the groin by Thumb. Cried outrage at Thumb being booked for said incident and claimed there was "minimal contact" despite replays showing a clear and blatant knee to the groin. Referred to various officials as idiots time and time again. Tried to pick fights with the BT Sport host. Harped on about various decisions time and time again. Far too emotionally fragile to do any sort of half decent commentary work
