We never needed to shift out of 2nd gear. Killie were fucking hopeless. I would have given MOTM the match to Shinnie hands down. He's fucking excellent. Can't believe he signed for us. I thought Flood and Hayes were stand outs too. There was the occasional slip up but on the whole a great performance given our European exploits. We've made a tremendous start to the league campaign. I hope the players enjoy their well deserved rest. Motherwell are poor so I'm hoping for 3 more points next weekend.

Back in the early 90s when my Ma started taking me to Pittodrie we always went to the Merkland stand. Our squad is decent but no where near deep enough to give it 100% domestically and in Europe. I'd like to see us give it 100% on Thursday night and try and get into the group stage but after that I think we need to switch our focus away from Europe. If the guarantee of prize money helps us add depth to our squad then perfect. But I want to see us kick on domestically primarily.

As was blatantly obvious. Fuck it though. It was a great goal and a thoroughly deserved 3 points. We were easily the better team. Wee Jackie (prick) was maybe a bit naive to go for it against us in the manner that he did. It was quite an end to end game but our performance was tireless. Flood was superb. The fact that he was relatively fresh made a huge difference. The only criticism I have was the lack of quality from deliveries. Flood's corners were generally hopeless and in fact the only decent crosses all day seemed to come from Hayes. It's hilarious that the goal came from another shite cross this time from Goodwillie. Don't care, though. Good performance and a great win. Hud at Arab minks.
