  1. In/oot: In Prematch: Train then Roseburn Match: Roseburn Stand Postmatch: Hopefully manage a quick couple somewhere, probably oot in Aberdeen. Prediction: 1-2 Quietly confident for this game. Good away form and Hearts have been pretty rank. What time does the Roseburn open? We get into Edinburgh at 10:20am!
  2. Fuck me, another tough draw even if we do get through against Motherwell.

    Boxing

Absolutely. What an absolute bell-piece. Hope he gets floored in the first round.
  4. Aye, the supporters club made a trip down! Usually a very pished affair! I wouldn't expect anything less!!
  5. It's definitely gone down in stature since it changed from the UEFA Cup to the Europa League. That said, I can't see why many of the English teams view it as a punishment. On Fulham's run to the final, you could see the excitement that run generated from it. For teams such as Fulham, Newcastle, Everton and even Tottenham, it would be a massive achievement to reach the final and possibly win it. I would also be in favour of scrapping the third placed Champions League team being parachuted into the Europa League. It definitely diminishes it as then you get teams that really have no real interest in playing in it despite what they say e.g - Man United and Man City last season.
  6. I don't think any side in the country could cope with the injury list we have.
  7. I've been there before an Ibrox game afore and it was heaving with Dons fans. Think a supporters club drinks oot o there. Best to ask glasgow sheep or Bobby Biscuit I think but Bobby Biscuits no been seen around these parts for a while now.
  8. What time does the Roseburn in Edinburgh open? Heading doon for the game on the 8th.
  9. Due to the fact that my uncle had tickets that he wasn't going to use and my mither was quite keen on going, we ended up going to the Tonga game. Now, I have been to rugby before when Scotland played Italy a few years back. Played quite well, even scored a few tries! I was bored to tears at that so I didn't hold out much hope for this game and it didn't fail to deliver. Holy fucking hell, I was bored. Bored to absolute tears. It is one of the few sports thats actually better to watch on TV IMO. No atmosphere, no singing and nothing happening on the pitch. We left at 16:15 as it was more of an endurance rather than anything else. I ken it was a shite game anyway but I think that's it for me and live rugby.
  10. Great result yesterday. A huge 3 points, even more so with the Tims losing. By the sounds of it, we were outplayed a bit but hey ho, we got a goal and they didn't. Thats the way things go. Brilliant too given the injury list we have, not helped by Ozzie going off. How many Dons fans were there yesterday?
  11. Unfotunately I think we should all laugh at Elgin here. Complete shambles.
  12. Cue "Hughes for Scotland" nonsense nonsense
  13. Aye. Mentions on that, that he might sign a pre-contract. What's the deal with that? Technically, they wouldn't be signing him. Just an agreement to sign him in the summer once their ban finishes? No suire if I'm right with that but nothing would surprise me with the SFA.

Can't wait to see Flight. Looks brilliant IMO. Denzel FTW
  15. At the moment, I'm reading Richard Gordon's book on the Gothenburg Greats. Hadn't anything about it coming out before I came across it on the Amazon store. Very enjoyable read and something a bit different from the well worn path. Goes into detail on each player and tells their story from where they've gone in life since then. Great read.
  16. Sounds fucking terrifying. I'm not sure whether I would ever travel to Rome if Aberdeen were playing there based on their record - 1984: Liverpool fans stabbed by Roma supporters after European Cup Final 2001: Liverpool supporters stabbed in buttocks 2006: Middlesbrough fans attacked, again involving buttock slashing 2007: Manchester United fans face similar attacks on two separate occasions 2009: Man Utd fans attacked again by locals Nov 2012: Italian fans attack Spurs supporters
  17. Has been linked with a move to Sevco. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=121&fid=18&sty=2&act=1&mid=2113751882
  18. He is a poisonous little prick. Wouldn't want him in our team at all. Not if you want GIRUY signs to your own supporters every few games.
  19. Fuck me. Are you trying to tell me that nae mods do the night shift for an event such as this?! Get it sorted oot!
  20. What's up with this spamming shite now? Bug?
  21. IMO, the bit about having to sit on his hands suggests that it is in the home end. Plus having to get a season ticket holder to buy them. If that was me, I would have told to where to go. We need a big and noisy support on Saturday and the less fucking plastic Tims in the home crowd the better.
  22. From talkceltic. Right, own up. Who's the prick who got Tims fans seats in the home end?
  23. Hughes is out. I would be happy with that line-up but equally I would be happy with Ozzie at right back. Really hope/think Magennis shouldn't be anywhere near right back for this game.
