  1. Just pricing up the Partick game. No keen on a megabus and train is £50 return at the minute. Any supporters buses got a couple of spare seats?
  2. In. Nae pubbing beforehand. 1-1 Reynolds.
  3. What the fuck's happened Cammy Smith??
  4. AC/DC. I'm always listening to AC/DC because I think they are the dogs bollocks but been listening to more Bon Scott albums. It really grates on me when folk argue about who is better, Bon Scott or Brian Johnson. Both of them are fantastic front-men and without the pair of them, AC/DC would never be the band they are today.
  5. I do agree with you there. At the minute, he looks pretty shite but I'm always of the opinion, give anyone a chance. Certainly if they don't improve then and you've given them a fair chance then it's well within your right to berate them. Much like me and Langfield who I think should have been punted years ago and will always cost you more than he saves you. However, with the showing of Weaver against Celtic and now Hearts, I'll actually be glad to see Langfield back! That say's it all about our goalkeeping situation, our poor and it seems, almost lazy scouting to address a glaring problem and for years, the failure to sign a capable No.1.
  6. Vernon starting is a bit of surprise. Would be good to see Consi get a bit of game time at some point. I thought Hector was MotM against Celtic but Robertson still doesn't fill me with confidence.
  7. I don't think McInnes rates Vernon very highly whatsoever, and based on last seasons performance, who can blame him? I don't know if he will be gone by the end of the window but a mutual termination would suit both parties IMO. I don't rate Magennis whatsoever and would like him to leave but given a choice as to who I would rather see come off the bench between those pair, I would have to choose Magennis. And also Zola, at least (along with any new signing/youngster etc), at least give him a chance. He had 25 mins of pre-season and we're only into the 3rd game of the season and Rocket has already written him off. He may never be the best player in Scotland but a lot of far worse players than him have been very effective in Scottish football. He looks like he might have a touch of doing something tremendous one minute and something laughable the next. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and hopefully once he opens his account, he'll score reguarly.
  8. I'm oot. In at work all weekend on O/T. 1-3 win I've gone in my predictor!
  9. Cheers very much for all the info. Will definitely do a whole day of Khao San Road and will take your advice on travelling about with the sky ride, tuk tuks etc. I'm still not sure about the Kwai, just an idea but will obviously have to give it more thought if it's a whole day job/malaria jabs. It certainly looked it when I did a bit of research on it so I'll have a think. I hear what you're saying about the prices for tour operators. I'll stay clear unless it's something we've planned to do e.g snorkelling or a boat journey to some of the islands.
  10. Thanks! The only woman I will be taking back is the woman I went there with so pretty sure she doesn't have one!!
  11. We've booked Thailand for two weeks. Last week in October, first week in November! Can anyone give me any tips? Places to see and things to do? The plan so far is get into Bangkok and stay in Bangkok for 3/4 nights and then get an internal flight somewhere, poss Phuket and move around from there until we have to go back to Bangkok for our return flight. Anyone know of any good hotels around central Bangkok?! Trip advisor is doing my nut in! Things that we are keen to do so far is night time safari, see a boxing match whilst we're in Bangkok , snorkelling etc, see the bridge over the River Kwai, go and see some of the markets/temples in Bangkok. That's all we've thought about but there will be no doubt countless more to come yet.
  12. I heard this afternoon that there were only 700 tickets left.
  13. Yep. Main Stand and RDS is sold out. Can only get tickets for section Y. Robson oot for a few weeks after knee surgery.
  14. I hear you brother. Time and time again in 'big' games, we haven't turned up and it's been a monumental let down. However, I do feel there is something different about this game for some reason. If we go at them, don't panic and just play the football we have done so far this season, I really think we can get a result. With Hayes, Pawlett, Flood and McGinn starting the season so brightly along with Robson and Jack, I don't see any reason why we can't get a result. Looks like it could be very close to a sell out which just underlines that if you get a team on the park capable of doing something, then the fans will follow. Season ticket holders with unused under 12 seats have been urged to get in contact with the club so they can sell more. In Archie Simpsons/Pitt Somewhere in the Sooth Touring pubs 1-1 Zola
  15. Seen on FB that Dons were 2-0 up. What was the final score? How was the performance? Any stand outs?
  16. Deary me. That scoreline reminds me of McGhee's first game in charge. Utter shambles. On the up side, congratulations to St Johnstone!
  17. THEY MAY TAKE OUR PORN BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE OUR TOWN CRIERS!!!!
  18. Aye. Best fans in the world. Reports (how true I don't know) about chanting about Lee Rigby.
  19. Don't believe that for a second. Best fans in the world.
  20. Says he in America! Don't think it is quite the same!
  21. I see Brittain's move to Perth is now off. Big boost for County.
  22. Agreed. Most of our best players through the years have been from outwith the North East area.
  23. Milsom gone to Rotherham. Hope he gets on alright!
