  1. I can only assume that's a very poor pun! Anyway, pubs and kids? Any of the usual haunts take kids?
  2. Contemplating taking my bird over to Belfast for a long weekend for either her birthday or Christmas. Would imagine that plenty of folk have been? What like? Plenty to do and see? I see they have a pub called The John Hewitt which coincedently was opened on Mayday 1983! I will be popping in there for a pint if we go!
  3. Heading down to Tannadice for the first time this weekend. Anyone know if any of the usual AFC fans haunts allow children? And I'm fairly optimistic for this game. Losing Jack is a blow and possibly Fraser is a bigger blow but I feel we can cope. Is Hayes ok for this one?
  4. Aye that's a blow. Did he do this on U21 duty? Heard he came off injured recently. Although it is a blow, hopefully it won't upset the balance of the team and I think we have enough cover, especially in central midfield that we can get by.
  5. My thoughts exactly. At the start of the season, quite rightly, he was pissed off at losing his place. But show a bit of professionalism and class, work hard and hope to get a chance again in the coming months. He's shown himself up for being a right twat and he should get punted in Jan. When there's some positivity buzzing around the team and the fans, something that has been missing for so long, the last thing we need is a big time charlie spouting shite to the media. As much as I don't think Langfield should be our keeper and that he has had more than enough chances at the club, I also don't have anytime for footballers like Brown who would rather complain to the media than getting his head doon and seeing how it pans out. Fuck off Jason. Was it not BobbyBiscuit who was complaining about his alleged 'warm up' during a recent game? I think against Dunfermline in the cup? What did he do or what didn't he do?! Shocking behaviour for a 'pro' anyway. Agree with all of this, especially the bit in bold. I wouldn't be stunned if most of the team realised what a twat Jason Brown was and decided not to get involved with him. Definitely doesn't sound like any of them socialise with him.
  6. Caley win the first ever SPL Highland derby 3-1. Can't help but feel that County have lost a bit of momentum since their first loss in 40 games. That said though, Dundee will keep them safe from relegation.
  7. Commons won't get a look in. He plays in the SPL.
  8. Fraser is genuinly the most exciting player I've seen at Pittodrie for years. Far more exciting than Aluko and Pawlett and made of the stronger stuff than the pair of them put together.
  9. No no no no no no. 1-2 win for the Dandies. McGinn and Vernon.
  10. Finishes 3-1 Arsenal and 1-1 Man City. By all accounts, Man City were very lucky to get the draw and Dortmund should have taken their chances. City struggling again so far in Europe, the next round of Chumps League games will be vital to them.
  11. He's always looked quite promising when I've seen him. Would have liked him to kick on a bit more and get more first team action this season.
  12. I must have been on something to come oot with that one! I retract my earlier statement and sincerly hope that the cunts get gubbed! Normal service has resumed.
  13. Riveting stuff. Recently finished Barca: The Making Of The Greatest Team In The World by Graham Hunter. I would highly recommend it, couldn't put it doon! Goes into depth about the bad times at Barca and how Johann Cruyff revolutionised the whole club, from the youth set-up right to the first team. Also has bits on each of the first team and recalls how close Iniesta and Messi were to going on loan to The Team Formerly Known As Rangers. A very good read and one which I would say to any football fan to read. Now reading - Enjoying it so far.
  14. Not as far as I'm aware. I think he had a bust up with Lambert and has been exiled. Shocking decision to pick Hutton. Not only that, he has been woeful since his Spurs career went tits up. Forgotten how to defend and how to attack.
  15. Has it not been Anderson and Reynolds mainly at centre back? Due to the injury to Naysmith, Considine has been deputising at left back has he not? Regardless, it is good to see that defensive record and means that scoring goals against us is not easy (if Clangers can concentrate for a full 90 that is). Just need to bang them up the other end and push up the league!
  16. Mark Hughes looks to be the next one oot the door!
  17. Christ, I wish we had a better goal-keeper. Once again, Langfield makes a hash of it. I've been very impressed with Gavin Rae this season. Scored a few goals, set up a few and is a good leader in the centre of the park. Strong and can really get up and down the park for someone who's getting on a bit.
  18. VERNON! What a time to get the winner!
  19. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS
  20. Looks ominously like extra time to me. Mon to fuck Aberdeen.
  21. Sounds like same old. I've seen various mentions of 'Aberdeen poor', 'Dunfermline hits the woodwork', 'Aberdeen goal lives a charmed life' and 'No attacking intent from Dons'.
