Did you know it was 2-0 before you got there? Must've thought it was a bug hoax!! Been there before. I got to Easter Rd 30 mins late one day and we were 2-0 up. We ended up winning 2-0!

Mostly them 2nd half but not desperate backs to the wall stuff. Penalty looked a non incident to me! BBC radio pundit also saying he didn't think there was anything in it.

I know a lot of you will disagree with me but this is my opinion.... football fans are ridiculously fickle and rage and complain when there team are not doing what they want. Then when they do what they want and it is'nt an immedate success they are back on the managers back. There are so many examples of this throughout the history of football and I see the whole sacking of Mccinnes and non immediate success of Glass as a classic example. Craig Brown as Scotland was another example of this. Between him and Roxburgh, they qualified us for the 1990 world cup, 1992 and 1996 euros and 1998 world cup. They did so using older, experienced guard but the fans turned against Brown and said we want younger blood. Bertie came in and did exactly what the fans had been demanding and well 23 years later we have finally qualified again. I know there was more to it than that but intially the change of manager and selection process called for by the fans was a major part of the lack of succes. with Glass we have seen a high turn over of players and a large number of key injuries (today's match is a case in point - 3 injuries, nearly 4 when Lewis got clattered a few times). football is a team game and teams take time to gel and when the team is constantly being changed by new players and injuries that severly hampers a teams form and confidence. Glass and his team need to be given time to gel and settle into a formation. we have lost key players today so don't be surprised if we don't continue with winning ways on Wednesday. I for one am willing to give this experiment a chance. I really enjoyed the game today and think we have been good to watch several times this season without winning. Better times will come again, I am sure! #standfree

Some of the players will be asked to play in both of these matches according to Glass. Risk of injury surely higher playing more than one match in a day. I also question the benefit of playing a second match in a day? Surely the players that play in both will be physically and mentally tired?

I am delighted with this signing. He ticks all the boxes for me. You don't get called up to play for the US if you are pish and he was called up less than 2 years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on.

Don't know where you got that info from but they are currently bottom of the Swedish league after 8 matches.

Sky Sports are saying UEFA have confirmed that away goals will not apply from this coming season.

I see Scott Brown has been announced as no.8 for next season but can't see anyone else's numbers anywhere? Anyone got any idea when the rest will be announced?

Love the strip this year. Excited to see the away strip. I was sent this and whoever did this mock up got the home one spot on. So fingers crossed the away is like this. I like the navy trim on the home top and socks.

Marley Watkins has been released by Bristol. Worth bringing back? I dont think we've played any decent attacking football since he left! Won't score us many goals but helps us build attacks.

Thought Hayes played well for the first time in recent memory!!! I know he scored last week but he's been a total passenger for several months. Long may his form continue to improve!

I thought our first half performance was pretty decent. Their keeper had two or three top class saves and there was at least one block on the line (or at least close to it) we also had a few effort that were inches away from woodwork. Ramsay looked really good, can beat a man and put in some excellent crosses. Our defence had a few uncharacteristic shaky moments, however, I'm not actually surprised by that. If the team is not scoring, it puts huge pressure on the defence and goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet and a match against lower league opposition just heightens that pressure! I was also impressed with Dean Campbell. I though he controlled the midfield and splayed some lovely passes. The one player who I thought had a particularly awful match (again) was Hayes. He did next to nothing. He has to be dropped and let someone else have a go.

Got to be a defender I think, given the number of clean sheets and also lack of goals. Hoban got my vote with Considine a very close 2nd. Taylor also has done well.

Sorry but I am starting this because it has been mentioned a number of times that there are a few players out of contract, however, I don't know who they all are. Only ones I know for definite are Hoban and Leigh. We HAVE to resign Hoban surely! He has been solid for us and he owes us something for helping him resurrect his career. I would also like to give Leigh a chance. He is a good attacking full back, is still reasonably young and if he kicks on, could make us some cash or be a great player for us. Can anyone help out with who else? If Logan is out of contract, I am sure he will be away, he's not been getting a chance and can't see him and Brown being best buddies.

The noises coming from Cormack are suggesting that Glass will be given money. Cormack has put his neck on the line with this appointment so he will have to do everything he can to make it a success. He actually said in his interview that he thought the fans would be excited in the next few weeks, they must have something lined up other than Broonie and the boy Russell. I think that they must have had talks with players about pre-contracts. Strange thing to do ahead of appointing the new manager.....

This was supposed to be happening until COVID hit. Hopefully we will get a couple of pre-season friendlies with them this year, if we are allowed. It would be worth a lot of money to us!

Some good points and very interesting to hear from someone with first hand experience. We will just have to wait and see. Don't forget though, Stephen Glass played almost his entire career in the SPL and the EPL so he has had his footballing education here.

Well I for one am excited about the future. I was impressed with Glass' interview on RedTV and also Cormack. It sounds like they already have some new players identified and that they will be investing in the squad this summer. There is a real ignorance about US Major League Soccer. For all a lot of people can't stand the US and the style they put on sport, they know how to do it and invest in grass roots and coaching etc. In my opinion, the US are far better at professional sport that we are. Glass comes to us with a really good education which is a lot more than can be said for some young managers here. Jack Ross is an example of a young fairly inexperienced manager and he is doing pretty well as is Gerrard. Atlanta 2 would cuff any Scottish Championship team in Scotland. Glass has more experience than most people are giving him credit for!

Why? Shay won't be likely to forgive and forget, why would he? Or why should he for that matter?!?

Welcome home Stephen, good to have 'one of our own' at the helm! I thought I'd start a new thread for him as he is confirmed as the new manager now and no longer speculation and I thought he deserved his own thread! More of this please Sir!

That's not what I meant, poor choice of words, sorry. I mean, he will likely not have any grudge to hold against Shay, whereas Shay will not be likely to forgive and forget.
