It's going to be very interesting to see how this window goes. As things stand the only position we are lacking natural cover for is RB and perhaps CB. With Mcgrath, Mckenzie and Duk all OOC there is plenty of potential for a curveball though and we may end up accepting an offer if they have already agreed a pre contract elsewhere. As much as Duk is looking a player reborn I can't see him extending (though I would hope we would try anyway even if it's just for one more season) and it's 40/60 against for me on the other 2 at the moment. Have to say the prospect of losing both the JM's is the one sour mark on this season so far.
-
Just a flat five but if he sticks to that that's probably at least 2 seasons longer than I would expect to keep a manager of this potential all things considered. Thelin seems a man of his word too, look how he was with not prepared to leave Elfsborg in the lurch after agreeing to come here. That does make me wonder how far he could take us in 5 years.......
-
Willie Miller said on the radio last night that his understanding was Thelin had promised Cormack 5 years.
-
I'm convinced he comes back before he retires

I am very glad I took today off, was more than a little ropey when I woke up. What a night though. On rewatching the highlights yet again i just noticed something. Devlin has become quite used to scoring goals. Quite often with fullbacks when they score they often have an air of astonishment about them that they actually scored a goal. There's just none of that in Devlin at all now, the way he celebrated the goal he very much had a "You're damn right I'm scoring that" expression on his face as the ball hit the back of the net. I think it was Rico that mentioned Mackenzie's turn that led to Devlins goal and it really was class. The improvement in JM is almost becoming more remarkable by the game now. Indeed you could actually make the argument he's the best LB in the league... or at the very least he's in the conversation. That he has not yet signed a new contract is worrying though..... I'm actually not sure what would represent the better business between Mcgrath and Mackenzie if they were both sign new deals come to think of it.

I've been stalking hun media since they went out to Kiev, the schadenfreude has been wonderful since then but today it's Michelin star delicious. If they had any lingering hope for the season it's defo gone now and it's just anger and hun tears in equal measure. Such a delicacy
-
Firstly Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! Fucking have it you hun scum! Secondly, let's lay off mcgrath, sometimes this happens in football and such is life. I very much agree we would have probably scored a third before half time if it had gone in though but we still won and we deserved too. They are never clawing back 9 points on us and they know it.

I would be a little surprised to see Clarkson start 2bh, I don't think he's done too much the last few games. Buzzing for tonight. HEED FIRST!!!
-
It will be hard for him to get a career ending injury if he doesn't play though......

Not making the CL massively put them up the swanny but they have been a poorly run club for quite a while now. When they won the league they had an opportunity to progress and massively fucked it. They have multiple key senior positions vacant, have wasted so much money on diddy players and sacked managers and then gave Clement a contract extension despite little sign of progress and not even being in the job a year. The chat amongst the hordes of mordor is that it was a sweetener to stop him quitting because the finances were much worse than they had led him to believe when he accepted the job. Which is why I think they are a club in crisis since they went out of the CL
-
It's not overplayed imo, they are a club very much in crisis and have been since they went out to Kiev.
-
I got 27/10 with enhanced prices on PP. Ridiculous odds and far too good to turn down.
-
I think I would relate to this more had I not been stalking the rangers forums for schadenfreude since they went out to Kiev (I can give it up anytime I like... I CAN!!!!!). Some are still on the deludamol but the vast majority are predicting this will be the game that gets Clement binned. The common complaints are; too passive, no plan B, can't break down teams, no pace, Tavernier, completely one dimensional, Dessers and Tavernier. Keep the head mun, it's gonna be fine. Worst that will happen is they fluke a draw.
-
I don't disagree but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have found it pretty funny though

Just watched the story of the match and it gives you a different angle where you can see vinnies face when the penalty is chalked off. He is GUTTED, bet he was planning on girfuy for Goodwin had he stuck the pen away.

I've booked the thursday off and got some close pals coming round for it. I'm so getting on it

Still buzzing from yesterday and I can't fucking wait for this one. In all my years supporting the dons I've never gone into a hun game not only so confident of a win but confident of genuinely hurting them. We are going to be so up for this as well. The likes of Nisbet, Shinnie, Mackenzie and Devlin will be in everyone's ear about just how much a win will mean for the fans and how not turning up isn't an option. Team wise I defo want Shinnie back in from the start. Would keep Sokler up front but the real question mark for me is whether we go for Keskinen or Morris on the right. I suspect it will probably be Keskinen but Morris has defo given the gaffer something to think about. 4-1 dons. Mcgrath, Sokler, Ruby and Nisbet Heed Fucking First
-
I tell you what, Goodwin showed a lot of class in his post match Interview. You could see how sick he was when the goal went in but there was no hint of bitterness when he spoke after. OK hands up who was really confused by Keskinen going off at half time? I assumed it was a knock but maybe JT wanted Morris on instead as Keskinen had been a little wasteful whilst being generally lively. Morris did well it has to be said, he really has become quite effective at just getting to the line and trying to get a ball across. I'm not sure he was quite as good as some quarters have made out but it he defo made a solid impact on the game. Delighted for Ambrose, there are defo still question marks there but scoring the winner with your first touch is never not going to go down well. He nearly won us a pen too but he was over eager to get forward. He defo could have held his run by a half a second and still outpaced the utd defender. Only one team was looking to win that game in the second half and we were well worthy of it in the end. Utd were stodgy all over the park though and it was some save from the keeper from Sokler too. You could possibly question the finish but I think that would be harsh, 99 times out of 100 that goes in. Der hun next.... Can't pretend I haven't had an eye on this one for a wee while. The minimum we could go ahead of them with a win is 9 points. Minimum. I wouldn't write off St mirren being hard work for them tomorrow either btw. They will probably win but imagine they don't... Then a win over them would put us double digits ahead before it's even fucking Halloween. Yes Please.
-
Starting to get the fear for this one . Goodwin would fucking love to end our unbeaten run
-
Thoughts and Prayers at this difficult time.
-
At least he left out Calderwood Jute
-
And it's virtually all sold out now too.
-
Exactly
-
I was thinking about that in the build up to the hearts game.

Hate Warnock more. Miller at least tried.... It was a pathetic attempt but he didn't take charge just to tick a box..
