He talks about Duk for a few minutes and reading between the lines I think he plans on giving him game time though I would be surprised if he even makes the bench for this one. As others have said I would expect to see Nisbet in for Sokler but we may see some more changes depending how fit those coming back from international duty are. Motherwell will likely be a sterner test than we have had this season though that has its benefits. I'm really interested to see how we do against a team that actually wants to take a swing at us rather than just sitting in. Disagree, keskinen was highly unlikely to score from where he was with defenders in front of him whereas you would fancy Pukki to at the very least work the keeper significantly. Keane is usually very rational about such things.

Very possibly re cash and agree about looking . I did agree with Wright and Keane at ht that he really should have been laying in Pukki instead of having a go but the kid is still young, hopefully he learns from it.

Benfica let us have him for free but we have to give them 50% if we sell him. The time to sell Duk if we wanted anything resembling a notable increase in bank balance would have been after his first season 2bh. You never know though, maybe he will really screw the nut and try and regain some respect. A player worth having for a season for sure, even if just backup. He certainly has work to do to convince anyone decent he's worth signing. We certainly aren't struggling up front now though I think JT will play him wide..... Which will probably suit him 2bh. Thelin likes the quick switches of play and Duk's first touch, pace and unpredictability would be an asset for sure. I would also hope that gives more opportunity to play Keskinen on the left.

If he was eager to sign I suspect we wouldn't be having this conversation 2bh. We can but hope he and his are enjoying their time in the granite city and that he is persuaded to sign an extension. That said if he does go our recruitment recently has been excellent.

I do wonder if Mcgrath is wary to sign on 2bh. Since he signed last season he has played under 4 managers and I wonder if that has an influence.

Time will tell but I think they will be doing very well to get 80 points to be totally honest. They simply don't have the squad to cope with the schedule they have coming and everything about the club is becoming more toxic by the day. As for us I actually think we have a really good chance to break the record DM set. The squad is looking pretty well balanced, only real question mark is rb cover but milne can do a shift there, pretty much every league game we will play this season the squad will be well rested and prepped and so far only the dundee clubs look to have their house in order outside of Celtic. October will be a big month for us, in fact it could be season defining 2bh. We are home to hearts, away to celtic, home to utd and home to der hun. I would say 9 from 12 points is very achievable there and if we got it i bet we would be double points or thereabouts clear of the cunts.

Rico I think you are overestimating the tribute act at the moment, I really do. I've been checking in on their forums since the Kiev result and when you filter out all the knuckle draggers the more football savvy hun is very depressed right now. The consistent message is basically "we are terrible, worse than we were last season, broke, temporarily homeless and it's going get worse and really toxic cos we are not equipped for a thursday-sunday schedule, I'm more depressed now than i was in 2012 as at least there was hope then" One was even smart enough to put it together that they are probably going to be 8 points behind us (not that I'm taking that for granted but I can understand why we will be favourites to beat Motherwell) by the time they kick off against Utd and they are very worried about that Utd game I might add. Clement is looking like a rabbit in the headlights after a promising beginning and one poster said "we just need him standing in a bush now", a lot of them have turned on him. I don't think it matters what they are spending 2bh because they clearly are not spending it well. 2nd place is well up for grabs imo, I'm not saying we will defo get it, it's a long season after all, but I think it should be seen as a realistic target given how we have started. I mean, if we are going to do it this is probably how it looks to begin with. It should also be recognised that this isn't all about the huns being shite. Sure, that's necessary, but despite being a work in progress we are looking far better than I expected us to at this stage. It's not unfair to say the fixture list has been kind to us but pre Thelin coming in the door the biggest question mark was how we were going to do against teams that sat in. So far, so good on that front and I don't know about anyone else but I'm really looking forward to the Dundee away game at the end of the month because this will be the first time we play someone that is actually going to try and have a go at us. As for that work in progress it's also worth noting just how much time on the training pitch Thelin is getting with his players compared to his counterparts at rivals. I think that is a real silver lining for not getting into Europe btw, Thelin is getting plenty time in his first season to work with his squad and I genuinely believe we will see performances improve steadily throughout the season as a result far more than we would if we had a European campaign to negotiate. All in I think we have a hell of a chance of getting second, i certainly don't think they are overtaking us in the table anytime soon.

I was in the paddock at the side and had a really good view of the stand. It was obvious this would happen if there was a late winner as the stand was rammed and if you look at the footage and watch the crowd people are getting shoved onto the pitch before the ball has even hit the back of the net. For those at the front there was nowhere else to go but forward such was the scale of the bounce. People then got carried away and started going onto the pitch to celebrate which is a bit cringe given its only county away. That said it was still a big goal for us and that game was INTENSE all the way through. It really was some bounce when we scored, you can't beat a last minute winner.

The crowd stuck with the team too. There was no point they were getting on their back even when Ambrose was making some really silly decisions. There's a real unity at the club at the moment, stronger than I've ever seen 2bh, and long may it continue. It's nice to see us top of the league but if I put on my pragmatic hat I think I want celtic to stuff them tomorrow.
