Take it she is a JAFA then? Can be the only reason you would leave Wellington for that shithole
-
In terms of yon tic fans the bit tgat summed them up for me was in the 92nd minute when they refused to give the ball back. The cynic in me says this may have been partly down to Logan being the player who was going to take the throw in. I really did enjoy logan chucking the ball off the back of griffiths head too

Did your Mum used to ply some trade outside the UN?

Arabs see off Morton to make the semis against Falkirk Personally hoping for a Caley and Hamilton Win tomorrow to really put the shits up Motherwell.

I'll say this, despite the scoreline I'm finding this a quite exciting game. Reminds me of January 1999 against Sevco when it was 2-0 after 10mins followed by a Newell diving header and Jess passback free kick to equalise. red Card for Scott Wilson only for a blatant kanchelskis dive in the 88th min to undo the whole thing. I don't know if Celtic are feeling the strain or have just taken their foot off the gas but if it goes to 3-2 (especially b4 half time) I wouldn't rule out a sneaky draw.

classic 5 a side second there. Only thing left to do is follow the traditional 5s philosophy of 'were gonna get humped....break some legs'

Construction industry is not the most reliable especially when the client is a football team. It took almost a decade for Halifax town to get their stand finished (and that was with them sharing with a superleague team). Port Vale still havent completed their 'new stand' which was started in 1999. In my experience Contractor's will just keep working until the client stops paying the monthly valuations. Then its tools down & clear out time leaving a very expensive sculpture for neds, foxes & pigeons to play in.

Arabs take a 2-1 lead in the playoff. Disappointing crowd at Cappelow though - 3,306

Rules allow a change at any point provided there is an empty slot. You do of course have to put your money where your mouth is and update the list
-
Any glory hunters thinking about sneaking in for the remaining slots? 85 83 82 81 - MBT 80 79 78 77 - Tyrant 76 75 74 - Nellie The Don 73 - BigAl 72 - Edinburghdon 71 - Oxford Don (2nd Place Assured) 70 69 68 - Thomsod 67 - Jute 66 - Manc 65 - rocket 64 63 - Tom_Widdows 62 61

Ive watched this team for too long to not have a niggling feeling they could still lose a 23 goal advantage in 3 games
-
I stand corrected
-
oh FFS Mcinnes why did you take off Pawlett and stick on O'Connor. Can anyone remember a single match where shutting up shop with 45mins to go has worked in his time?

With an ever decreasing police presence thanks to 'the cuts'

SC Semi-final - Dons - HIVs - Sat 22 April - 12:15
tom_widdows replied to manc_don's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
You mean the one way street with the red sections of tarmac, blue signs saying 'authorized vehicles only', and 'bus gate ahead', Road markings on the initial sections saying 'bus lane ahead', 'turn left except buses, bikes & taxis'? https://goo.gl/maps/F8wK2gdPvRr -

Which street? -
Oh the perils of having a preferred/traditional end at the national stadium which is slightly smaller than the opposite end
-
Willie Young - corrupt or just incompetent?

At the risk of bringing out and old Cliche, deprived areas can be very susceptible to right wing politics particularly if they have a high 'immigrant' population. 'Forget that successive governments have deliberately neglected your area, its all the fault of the <insert Non UK citizens here> and we 'the peoples party' shall stop decanting them to ......shall deport them all!' -
Going by the interviewers stationed in Wales a fair chunk are people who 'don't like Jeremy Corbyn' It is an interesting logic to take. I don't like the laid back old bloke so ill vote for the party who is openly destroying every socialist ideal the UK ever had. Just reminds me of the Welshies they interviewed after the EU Referendum who's attitude was essentially 'The EU has paid for our new roads, schools, leisure centres etc but enough is enough. It's time we put out faith in the Conservatives'

Given how to my knowledge not a single Council's Planning Team is coping under the new online systems I wouldn't base the lack of updates on their website as evidence of anything. In the last 4 weeks I have contacted at least 3 different council's about various planning/ warrant applications only to be told by the allocated Planning or Building Control Officer that they weren't even aware they had been allocated the project. In one case the determination deadline had already passed. Have also now discovered that every online application goes through a central server in Edinburgh which has no safety net for computer glitches or human error so in some cases updated drawings/ documents are never received by the council despite confirmation emails being sent. Either way it was actually quite nice having a break form this thread until Manc tripped over it again with his size 6s Why don't we just all wait to see what happens in June...or alternatively speculate as to what the newly elected Aberdeen Council Planning team cancels/ reinstates in the traditional 5 year tit for tat battle with their predecessors? I note the 'final' design for the Union terrace Gardens was released earlier this week........

Are you one of those folk who thinks Glasgow is split into a Rangers half and a Celtic half (with a Small contested 'Kashmir' zone full of Thistle Fans)? God help anyone seen wearing Green & White in Kinning Park or Blue in Ballieston etc Personally I think the Dons should demand the East End of Hampden because Pittodrie is further East than Celtic park.
-
Gronigen and PSV initially said they couldnt put in safe standing as their stadiums/ stands couldnt spread the weight evenly? That is a rather worrying statement and I would be questioning the design of their stadiums if there wasn't an allowance for being certain areas being over capacity in emergency situations
-
You mean the 'planning' drawings which show a general stadium layout? Lets wait for the Warrant/ Construction drawings
