STVs coverage seems to be patchy (for me anyway) Sound keeps dipping in and out. Wont be surprised if they suddenly go to an ad break while the game is still going on (which they have already done in an earlier game)
-
So either i misunderstood things or UEFA moved the goalposts again as St Johnstone are not guaranteed group stage euro football. Only advantage is apparently they will be seeded if they end up in the Conference league playoffs.....but I won't be surprised if UEFA change that. Anyway Hacken currently bottom of the Swedish league with 6 points from a possible 24. Nice compact stadium (6500 capacity (2000 standing)) with the customary astroturf

If blame is to be assigned for that one it should be laid at the door of Armstrong who decided to pass the ball out of defence (seemingly trying to start a counter attack), when he should have punted it as far down the pitch as was possible, ideally for a throw in by the england corner flag. Then there is the unforgiveable marking as Armstrong, Brown & Tierney stood and watched the cross coming in, Leaving Berra, Mulgrew and Tierney to mark 5 England players however all 3 of them also decided to watch the ball. Had Kane missed it, Smalling was right behind him for a tap in.

I predicted 2-0 Czechs. Predicting 1-1 at Wenbley which will get the press into a frenzy ...... and then 3-0 Croatia.
-
Pat Nevin is supposed to be part of the 5live commentary. Would like to think BBC scotland will have a foot in the door for the Croatia & czech games.

Allegedly the Italians have never scored more than 2 goals in a European Championship game. edit: Until today

Killie claiming Lafferty's agent demanded his wages increase 4 fold for him to stay at the club. Random prediction based on fuck all is he turns up in an Arabs shirt next season

There is still time.......

Ancelotti jumps from Everton to Real Madrid.

Is it fair to remove the away goals rule and yet keep the 'seeding system' in which seeded teams in the first round of knockout stages (last 32) now always host the second legs? I won't be surprised if that is soon brought in for qualifiers, Last 16, quarter finals etc

Derek McInnes Tribute Videos On YouTube

Maybe not the support as a whole, but potentially the mindset of the people who make the videos? -
Two loathesome clubs but for whatever reason I was rooting for chelsea. In my head at the moment, Man City's corrupt owners currently seem to be worse than Chelsea's Good to hear Havertz say 'to be honest I don't give a fuck' when asked some banal question by the BT sport guy

Brentford finally win a playoff final and are promoted to the top english division for the first time since 1947. Ex Dons GK Woodman gave away a penalty for the first goal which was score by Ivan Toney who seemingly the Tic didnt think was worth it instead signing Ajeti from West Ham for 4.5million - 6 goals in 30 games (Griffiths managed 7 goals in 26 games) Brentford signed Toney from Peterbrough for 5million (rising to 10million with add-ons) - 32 goals in 51 games Seen Brentford play at Craven Cottage, and Loftus Road but never got to see to see them play at Griffin Park (had a ticket but the game was cancelled due to Covid). I'd like to think one day I'll get to see them play at their new stadium

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57286931 Away goals rule seems destined to be scrapped. Personally I think the rule is one of the better things UEFA has ever come up with but anything which gives even the slightest chance their 'favourites' can be knocked out by some upstart diddy club doesnt score well with the shareholders and sponsors etc

Villareal win the Europa League on Penalties Believe that's St Johnstone guaranteed a Europa Conference Group place and at least £3million now
-
Just leaves the Dons, Tic & Motherwell as the only teams who have managed to stay in the Premier Division since I took an interest in football. I'm wondering if Killie might go the same way as Falkirk or Partick Thistle and possibly drop down to the 3rd tier at some point
-
Until they get the 3rd I won't relax
-
Technicality English Championship season doesnt finish til playoff final so watford are still a championship team
-
Hope I'm wrong but I reckon Dundee have blown it.
-
Winners are no longer guaranteed european football till christmas or £3millionSeems they will enter the Europa league '3rd' qualifying round' rather than the playoff round unless Chelsea win the champions league and finish in the top 4 of the EPL, or Villareal win the Europa League and finish 5th or 6th in La ligaThey do have the advantage that winning their Europa league tie will guarantee them a place in the conference league but lose it and they go into the 3rd qualifying round of the con league.

Deflection mode engaged. 'Well we wanted to have 4 parties inside ibrox each with 10000 fans but you said no and look what happened.......so its your fault a '"small minority" of 15000 caused chaos in the city centre for the second time in 2months.' -
Killie into the Premiership playoff against Dundee. I really hope Dundee don't bottle it like Falkirk did several seasons back. Don't go to many games but used to always make a bit more effort for away trips to Dens

Precedent has been set now. Underfunded police scotland have failed to stop it twice so I wouldnt be surprised if this sort of thing becomes an annual occurance from both sides of the OF. The 'these aren't true SEVCO fans' bullshit defence is a tad weak when 3000+ show up. SEVCO can claim all their like they 'did their best' to stop it, but if that was the case they could have A) Installed gates to side streets around Ibrox on Friday B) Paid for a Security fences to be installed on the street outside the Main stand. The street is already closed for maintenance so this could have been constructed fairly quick. C) Paid a large sum to Police scotland to close surrounding streets to non essential traffic D) stopped their players running to the corner gates to wave to the fans outside after they won the title in March. Perhaps this is the point where the football clubs do become legally responsible for the actions of their supporters. Your fans smash up a town centre, or another clubs stadium- Bill is sent to the club with 'price doubles if not paid within 14days - extra money goes to grass roots sports, and 3 points automatically deducted, and/or a cup-tie forfeited.
