  1. Whats the significance of the teams in bold?
  2. Considine equalises for St Johnstone at Tynecastle
  3. Brian Clough lasted 40 days at his 'United' Played 8 Won 1 Drew 4 Lost 3 Goals For - 6 Goals Against - 10 Jack Ross is currently on Day 70 Played 7 Won 1 Drew 1 Lost 5 Goals For - 3 Goals Against - 25
  4. And presumably linked to the Syngenta Chemical company who have a base in Grangemoutn
  5. For me it was just the next stage in the sponsors ruining football. Started with creating the Champions league (allegedly because they were pissed off that Real Madrid and AC Milan were drawn together in the 2nd round of the 1989-90 European cup instead of it being the Final) Then came the 'seeding' system to ensure better teams don't cut each other's throats in qualifying, and they always get the second leg at their home ground Next it was remove the 'away goals' to make it even less likely some upstart diddy team ruins their TV audiences and coming soon - Certain teams won't need to actually win any domestic cups, or even finish in the top 10 of their league, they will automatically get european football based on their 'historical record' (or sellability)
  6. So Manc don thinks Considine is now shit. Discuss
  7. Linfield Oot. Actually cheered me up a bit that
  8. In the last minute Linfield somehow turn a 4-on-1 counter attack at one end into a spectactular OG at the other. Now its penalties
  9. Some of the euro giants who will be joining hearts in the conference league FC Vaduz (Liechtenstein) FC Ballkani (Kosovo) Shamrock Rovers (Eire) Linfield (NI) currently 10mins away from a place too
  10. Classic scottish team performance by Hearts tonight. Lots of possession in the first half with the commentators throwing out the 'its coming, you can tell its coming' cliches yet never really troubling the keeper Second half a nieve effort to cheat the ref goes sour and the opposition take control.
  11. PSV goalie has to be on his last warning. 2 extremely costly mistakes in 2 games.
  12. Think its safe to say Ive seen dons fans breaking seats at most of the away games ive attended (one of the many reasons I can no longer be bothered going anymore) so no surprise if it is the case.
  13. Blowing the dust off this thread 15 goals conceded in 4 games (or 14 in 3 if you prefer). Goalie apparently had a mare for the 3rd St Mirren goal.

Bullet Train. Don't care what the critics say, I thought it was great
  15. Make that 4
  16. I get the feeling the goalkeeper situation is similar to brendan rodgers replacing craig gordon with an ex dunferline goalie only to realise his mistake after 10games.
  17. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/jack-ross-reveals-privilege-of-managing-dundee-united-and-makes-quit-now-quip-after-big-win-over-az-alkmaar-3794385 7 days is a long time in football
  18. Olivia Newton John - 73
  19. Csnt help thinking of another time a scottish team took a 1-0 lead to the Netherlands and got their asses handed to them. 4th place will be a struggle but i wouldnt bank on the arabs being the problem
  20. Or one Paul Bernard and one Brian O'Neill in Old money.
  21. Season hasnt started any earlier than previous This season - 30/31st July 21-22 - 31st July/ 1st August 20-21 - 1st /2nd August League cup started at the same time too
  22. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/62275049 Bobby Madden picking up where he left off in Scotland
  23. ITV once again doing their best to ruin football highlights. Last season Quest's coverage of the EFL was 90mins, and just got on with it (even then it was sometimes too long) ITV decide it needs 2hrs and to have 'features' Wonder if this format will change when Match of the Day starts again next week?
  24. 13th August? Train strike
