Thread is unusually quiet tonight. Unfortunately not in a position to comment on the game as only had Radio coverage, but going on that, it could quite easily have been a lot worse today, in terms of scoreline anyway. Seemed like we had a decent opportunity to take the lead, firstly May, then Shinnie. Wilson also missed a clear opportunity? Anyway, according to Billy Dodds, said he's been concerned about James Wilson's body language, said he's looked uninterested these last few games and today he reiterated that point again. Hooked at HT, either picked up a knock, or McInnes wasn't best pleased. Anyway, need to get this out of the system as soon as possible, if this Aberdeen team turns up next week, we'll get horsed by a bigger margin. Anyone seen/heard a McInnes interview post match?

All goals completely avoidable according to commentary, players clearly feeling the pressure, either that or McInnes and the players indeed have an eye on next week. First goal meant to be a major error from Niall McGinn, Second goal meant to be a Stevie May/Joe Lewis error. May & Wilson both had good chances for us also according to BBC Sport, yet it's former Gateshead striker Johnson that has scored the brace

Just read that Devlin is definitely out for the Motherwell game, but might make the Final. Fingers crossed, defensively we have been fairly solid with Logan Devlin McKenna Lowe, conceded only one in our last 4 or 5 games I think? Regarding Ball, I was thinking him for the sheer sake of balance, would be happy enough with Considine and McKenna. Really hope we can keep Lowe beyond January Rico, great engine, athletic and has a bit of skill about him, he's been a good addition, even if it took him a wee bit to get going, he's definitely our first choice LB now, in my opinion.

International Football done for the time being and back to business in the League. No doubt that Motherwell at Fir Park is a difficult fixture, however, we're on a nice winning streak, albeit playing far from our best, but we will take it, and I see no reason it can't continue on Saturday. Not sure if Devlin is ruled out but that's really the only question mark if he doesn't make it, do we slot Ball in there beside McKenna? Other than that, surely it's as you were against Hibernian. Aye, no from me also, and that is painful to say, I still genuinely miss him & I think the team still misses his style of play. You were guaranteed goals, assists and a minimum of 7 out of 10 performance every week from him. But we need to look forward, if GMS was more direct and tried less of the flicks and tricks, he could be a very similar threat for us.

We have won 3 on the trot, they haven't won in their last 3, we are at home and I expect & hope for a more positive line up & approach. I think Wright will come back in for Ball, and Ferguson will sit with Shinnie, and he might stick Considine back in at LB, although I don't feel Lowe deserves to be dropped. Other than that, it'll be as you were. Don't think there will be much in it, I'll plump for a 1-0 Dons win ( Cosgrove after being brought on around the 75th minute )

I think there have been some really good games between the 2 teams of recent years SeeBass, a few draws as well, but with 3 wins on the bounce, and Hibs having not won in their last 3, there should be reason for optimism! In terms of variety, well you know that's unlikely to change I am afraid, as much as the majority of us would like it to change.

To me it appeared to be more excessive than usual from him, even when mobbed by his own players, he was fighting through them to goad even more, perhaps he was trying to get us to throw stuff at him, wouldn't put it past the cunt to be honest, given all that's happened this last week or so, anything to put the boot in further to suit his argument that some of our fans are thugs, remember. The fans deserve credit for laughing it off, then subsequently getting the last laugh " Boydy, what's the score, Boydy, Boydy what's the score " I just wish we had someone with some sort of fight about them to have a word in his ear about it, and generally get it right up him, but nobody appears to have that in our team, fight I mean, takes zero pish etc...

And if you're currently in a more sombre mood, then this is just different class.
