I was so glad I had a 12v compressor and some foam to fix my completely shredded rear tyre The thing is the space for the spare wheel is there, they just choose not to give you one. The breakdown lad said 80% of his day is running people back and forth to kwik-fit to get new tyres as no cars have spares these days.

Mcgoo looked like a broken man on his last visit up here. I think if he was still in charge and we put another few past him it would have pushed him over the edge. Interesting point about Rooney but I mentioned on another thread that Stockley IMO seems to only really play better when partnered with Rooney, the times he has started as a solo striker he has never impressed me that much. I say play them both. We always talk about 'resting' players when they are a bit off-form. If it is a confidence thing with Rooney we need to stick with him until the goals start flowing again instead of knocking him back to the bench for a bit. Nice post and I think most would agree that Rooney has been well off the pace for a few months (although still adding to his goal tally). Stockley did look the part yesterday and I think he deserves a start but he always seems to play better when starting alongside Rooney. I'd like to see DM stick with the both of them for the next few games, motherwell and hearts. We would have Stockley there to win the long balls in, hold it up and either have a pop himself or set up a team mate at the same time we would have Rooney there to do what he does best - getting in the right areas to poach a few goals. With our defense reasonably stable at the moment there is no reason why we shouldn't be having a go against 2 teams who are at the worst they have been in a long time.

I was pretty impressed with C5's 'the accused' last night. Not the usual cheesy documentary they are known for. For anyone that didn't see it, it was following a young lady called Kelsey who had been charged, along with her complete cunt of a boyfriend, with the horrific assault of their baby daughter. Long story short - HE shook their baby when he got fed up with the crying. This resulted in serious injury. She stood by her man for some strange reason and this docu is following her during the lead up to the trial. Can't help feel for the lass. Currently watching BBCs take on the whole Shannon Mathews affair. Thought they might of actually got an actor to play one of the main characters (the mum). Apparently not, truly awful drama.

Your right about the SPL. I've only ever came close just the once in the last 2 seasons. I'm sticking with it though. I always include at least 2 draws to bump up the odds a bit. Friday nights game could be a good one for your cards, that Clancy bloke fairly dishes them out doesn't he?
