I mind a game where the tannoy piped up at half time asking for anyone with a referees qualification or something along that line, could that have been the same game looking for someone to take over the fourth officials role? I remember that being before the big josh era though, maybe wrong.

At home I am using the lap top through google chrome with adblock and I never have a problem with the adverts. If I am at work and try and look in on AbMad I use my phone which hasn't any adblock software and is indeed a nightmare. It takes ages to load, jumps about all over the place and at the very worst those "you have won an Iphone" intrusive adds pop up and vibrates the phone. Every time you try and close it, it pops up again. Just not worth the hassle.

Auld man was a hun so didn't get to much when I was younger. My first time at Pittodrie wasn't for a dons game - Scotland v Egypt. Quick google check says 1990? Main stand, angry mannies swearing and then felt really unwell. Dad took me home and was later diagnosed with salmonella food poisoning. 2 weeks of eating nothing but a small bowl or rice kripsies every morning followed by lots of spewing, shitting and hallucinogenic fever dreams. Feel sick just thinking back to it. For legal reasons I should point out that no blame was directed at the quality of the fine refreshments on offer at the home of the mighty dons. Can't actually remember first dons game, perhaps Skonto Riga up in the Dick Donald, 93,94??
