  1. The amount of shitey goals we’ve conceded under Thelin is unbelievable.
  2. I would like to see socialism given a wee run out, before we write it off
  3. Socialism would work pretty well with the climate emergency, in a way that capitalism wouldn’t. In order to get there though, I think theres some fairly radical steps to be taken first. Id suggest a Billionaires Guillotine lottery would be great place to start
  4. To me that pic is no different from a Reform Party event, other than the fact the purple rinse mob at those things are waaay more dangerous Handing in your voting rights when you claim your pension, would make the uk are far better place to live
  5. The one that hangs about the Aberdeen lot is especially weird. They’ll work that out soon enough
  6. They’ll like the dressing up more than the politics. It’s the same as the Aberdeen stop the boats mob. Trying to be edgy & looking absolutely tragic I’ll worry about it more if they’re still doing it in their 20s.
  7. Dumbarton are a basket case just now but I heard it was 9 goals against the run of play
  8. I think the world is bored shitless of political centrism and I don’t think theres an appetite to return to that, once these right wing virgins eventually run out of juice There’s a few things that give me optimism at home and abroad. I’m encouraged by the Green Party membership here, I’m loving the fact that everyone despises the Labour Party, I’m over the moon that the Tory Party is effectively killed itself and I’m fairly sure the inevitable fall of Trump will reflect incredibly poorly on Reform. I think Europe will strengthen because of the way the US has acted and I think those 70m non voting yanks are just waiting for something better than the usual pish on offer. Theres plenty to be hopeful about. I’m a cup half full kind of guy, unless we’re taking about Aberdeen FC
  9. More than likely a migratory Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) It’s an easy mistake to make, as they look very similar. They way to tell the difference is that geese can fly and swans canny
  10. Of course it will be better. The generation above mine has never voted to make things better. Ever. They would vote for the Drown a Puppy Party if it offered them £5 off their heating bill and deported their lovely neighbour Abdul
  11. Not surprising as seeing a flying dragon is every bit as likely as seeing a flying swan
  12. You’ve definitely got your group covered It’s a sweeping generalisation but Boomers are absolute cannon fodder in the disinformation war. Look at any Reform meeting, ask their opinions on immigration, Greta Thunberg, Trans people etc…few of them will have formed their own opinions on it. Theres not a hope in hell that a swan can get airborne. Too heavy for a start
  13. There will be wise elderly folk, they just won’t be baby boomer's, who are all wired to the fucking moon Im optimistic but I think we’ll reach a point soon when the world will reach saturation point with right wing grifters, anti vaxxers, anti climate change, do your own research, boring cabbages that have been running riot for the last 10 years. The overwhelming majority of which are only about because boomers don’t know how the internet works. The next generation do
  14. Chuck shouting ā€˜go Bills!’ before taking questions on the Brown University shooting, is every bit as fucked up as Trump Old men need to fuck off
  15. Agreed about the decline but I think the younger generation as a whole will buck the trend and tell the older ones to poke it. What’s their motivation? Also, Baby Boomers are the most mental c*nts out. Once they’re gone, the ā€˜older’ generation won’t be anywhere near as bad. Things look pretty grim at the moment but this is just late stage capitalism dying on its arse as it was always going to. They young uns seem like a decent bunch. We’ll be ok
  16. They’ve got nothing to lose as they’ve never had access to all the nice things in the first place. They also have a better grasp of how the internet works, so less likely to have their brains smoothed by Russian troll bots
  17. I think things would bounce back pretty quickly. I have supreme confidence in the younger generation.
  18. This is kind of what I’m on about. It’s off the charts. I don’t think he would’ve posted that during his first term. His brain is custard
  19. I couldn’t stand the black ones but now they’re my favourite. I just thought it was my tastebuds maturing
  20. My celebrity punch will always be Marti Pellow. I loathe that smug Bankie arsehole Darren McGarvey is running him close though. Rentabam for every media outlet
  21. The drip feeding of the Epstein photographs will only get worse for him. He’s starting to lose his grip on the Republican Party as a whole. Hesgeths fucked it, Mike Johnson’s fucked it, Levitts aged about 20 years, Bondi hasn’t won a case in months, the medical insurance premiums about to treble, the lies about affordability not matching the reality, Indiana telling him to poke it over redistricting, losing MTG, 20 congressmen doing a Tory and retiring before being voted out….its all going pear shaped He’ll crack on for a while but his health problems seem to be catching up to him as well. Must be all that hand shaking He’ll be gone soon
  22. I think this is the beginning of the end for Trump. It’s all starting to unravel pretty quickly now. 3 months tops before dementia house arrest sounds more appealing to him than facing the obvious noncing charges I wonder if all the folk cheerleading for him over here will have a moment of self reflection
  23. Cormack has a direct line to god. Maybe he can help build it?
  24. Mr Skinner!
  25. I heard Mike Joyce getting interviewed about his book on Radio 6. I’ll definitely be giving it a bash, hopefully it’s better than Johnny Marr’s.
