Surprised they are only ones so far. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11696/12187058/derby-unable-to-pay-first-team-in-full-amid-doubts-over-club-takeover All of football is about to collapse into a heap of debt and recrimination. The only sensible thing to do is stop. Who wants to keep ploughing money into this sanitised excuse for football we are getting just now. The whole point of football is going to the game to watch it. Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday facing up to 21 point penalties for selling their stadiums to their owners to make sure they didnt breach the financial fair play rules. Hillsborough was sold for £60million so the club posted a 24.6million pre tax profit. Pride Park was sold for £80million so Derby posted a 14.6million pre tax profit Derby appear to have been in the financial shit for a while now so I am not surprised they are one of the first of the next batch of clubs to announce problems paying their players down south. Unlike Sheffield Wednesday they managed to get away with the stadium sales trick but failure to get promoted in the playoffs 2 seasons back suggests they were gambling alot on getting TV money. tom_widdows 59
Hibs Hibs-ing it again 3-0 down at Hampden despite seemingly dominating the game. Great to hear a few pundits saying 'I can't see past hibs' and adding in other comments along the lines of 'hibs have so much quality, st johnstone have fuck all etc etc. Meanwhile down south Cheltenham take the lead against Man City

Avoiding defeat to Livi in next couple of games simply isn't enough. We need to be taking a minimum of four points out of the two games. Anything less and we're in real danger of being overtaken given the run they are on.
Jute 39
Liverpool easing passed Spurs 3-1 tonight meaning bin dippers are 4 points behind having played a game more. Spurs were awful at the back with Lloris especially not having a good game. Kane off at half time injured as well.
