David James moves to Bristol City :o

Quite surprised by that. Quite a coup for City. Unlucky Septic

Mark hughes is Fulham's new manager. Think that is a more than decent appointment. Hopefully he can build on Roy's success and ensure they retain a few of their key players from last season.

  • Dundee United look like they're doing a lot of research into whether their signings are a good culture fit for them, hence signing someone who looks like he already lives in a caravan.

Had to laugh reading that Celtic's latest transfer target is Paulo Bernardo 🤨 Hope their next moves will be for Nigela Pepperi and Nikita Maynardo.

on the front page today no doubt an orchestrated move to run him out of the club

Wayne Rooney agrees to leave DC United in January and join Derby.

Loadsa grunnies in Derby ?

Tierney Offski

Could be more to it, but on the face of things it looks like Juve have shafted Spurs massively by changing their minds on selling Dybala to them at the last minute.

Bit disappointing to see no action on Ryan Fraser. Unlikely we will get anything for him now.

Apparently we had a clause that if they didn't sell him before the end of his contract we get him back.

I'm wondering if it will make any difference to the way we negotiate these add on clauses. It seems Bournemouth turned down effectively £20 million at least for him. That would have been £4 million for us. Could we put in clauses that if they get an offer they reject we would be due a percentage of the highest offer when they leave on a free?

No

Next question?

St Mirren sign Joe Shaughnessy. Decent signing for them. Player I would have taken back at Pittodrie.

Partick Thistle sign Richard “Useless Cunt” Foster.

Hibs have signed midfielder Josh Vela from Bolton on a three year deal. Immediately being hailed by their fans as much better than Ojo because they are not bitter about Ojo picking us over them. Not in the slightest.

Just noticed he only played 14 games for Hibs. ?

Least Ojo is still with us.

Was he injured/shite or both ?

Not sure , but by the looks of it he was out the door around the time Jack Ross came in. So it might be that Ross never liked the look of him.

Danny Rogers signs for Killie.

Better club than I expected he'd sign for

And they then signed another one on Friday, put him in immediately against Hibs and promptly had a nightmare 45 minutes, supposedly at fault for both goals, embarrassingly so for the first and forced into subbing him off at half time, bringing Rodgers on. Killie boss speared on by journos post-match. Claims that he was injured and had to make the change but no one buying that excuse apparently

Not really the step up he was hoping for

Can't imagine there would be too much difference in the level of wages that Well & Killie would pay either

As it’s a short term deal to January I assume he is hoping that things will have improved by then and clubs in EFL will be back signing players.

One positive that might come out the current COVID situation is that the salary cap being applied by teams in League 1 and 2 in England might make playing for clubs there less appealing and more players will remaining in Scotland.

Agree that this could have a potential impact on our game up here and personally think that it would be for the good of our game to see players leaving Scotland for lower league English football.

Willian to Arsenal is an interesting one. Always rated him and couldn't believe how sparsely Sarri used him last season. It took a while for Lamps to give him regular starts and even then he didn't play him consistently and failed to get the best out of him in my opinion.

Wish the boy well. Great footballer.

Think Arsenal will be much more competitive next season. William playing regularly is an asset to any team
